I highly recommend an AEM dry filter. My brothers 2010 Camaro ss MAF sensor was always getting oil from the filter he had. That sensor being clean makes a big difference in throttle and fuel mileage. Two computer tunes for performance and mileage is an option. Full electric, never. But the Prius and Volt are extremely good vehicles for the money. When a certain type of party is going to be president, it's good to buy oil shares before inaguration. That's how I stay ahead. Cool shoes you have!

There is no convincing evidence that MAF sensors get oiled up due to K&N filter oil. This has been, more or less, debunked.

No fair! You're telling us not to do exactly what we got the car for. 😅 My car is my daily but I'm lucky that I have a company car that I use most of the time. I've pretty much accepted the fact that gas mileage sucks but I knew what I was getting into. Not gonna front though. Hopefully, gas prices drop sooner than later. We're over $5 a gallon for 93 octane here in Illinois. I'm over it. Lol.

ill say this. after the cam install, long tube headers, staright pipe (meaning no resonators, cats or mufflers) and procharger. gas is nothing and when i say nothing i mean nothing. about 9 miles to the gallon for me lmao! but i cant move myself to do electric car. no way no how.

They cost a lot but ngk iridium plugs seem to help my gas mileage in my focus I'm averaging 34 mpg. They don't make them for my 07 gt due to the 3 valve head design but at 14.8 mpg theres not much hope for it anyway so I just drive it on special occasions

Unfortunately, in my area in Canada, the Costco prices are worth it only if you're buying premium gas (typically 15-20 cents cheaper). There is very little savings you'd get on regular gas (5 cents cheaper). Just mentioning this cause the L99 motor works on regular.

@@HerAutoPerspective it was designed to work on 87 so you shouldn't have any issues. Unless of course, you tuned it to work on 91 minimum.

Good ideas; my '14 Vette averages about 19.5 and will get almost 30 on the highway due to 7th gear waaaaay overdrive (won't use the cylinder deactivation as that has caused some serious grief on other Vettes). If I REALLY want to save gas I drive my wife's RAV4 Hybrid!
