Hi Gaurav, I use full electric.if you are taking full electric, take a 2-3 year old, you might get it for 60-70% of a new one… check electrifying uk. Also, the electric cars depreciate alot, as the battery cost depreciate alot with usgae, so not an asset to buy fully.( in my opinion)

Gaurav & Avi, I have been driving Tesla for over 4 years in Canada and I will highly recommend going for that, you will absolutely love it. Your electricity cost as compare to gas cost is next to nil and one of the most safest cars. Good luck

If you want an SUV, have you considered either Puegeot 2008 or 3008? Both come with electric options as well. I just got it's previous generation and it's amazing with all the features you could want.

I have been researching for fully electric vehicles for last 2 months or so. Especially Tesla. It’s a risky one. Research a lot about fantom braking issue in Tesla. Auto pilot is quite dangerous at night even to use. Resale value is extremely low. After 10 to 15 yrs of use you need to replace the battery. Whatever you will be saving in maintenance, that will be gone either in battery or low resale value. If you take the company tax benefits, then you need to be with that company for next 4 yrs or so. Not good for independence. You can switch and get more money elsewhere or do high paying contract jobs. Range anxiety will be real. Claim range 360. Actual range 250 or less miles in summer, 220 in winter. Multiple stops to charge vehicle can be annoying. As a well wisher of you, wait for electric vehicle technology to develop a lot for next 5 yrs or so, then go for fully electric one. You should go for new like 30k pound car which cost 50k in new, that would be the best for you as of now. People tend to waste a lot of money when relaxed and well settled, so think twice. I saw your sofa purchasing video. The amount of money to the value proportion was quite unbelievable. Please don’t mind.

Bahi if planing to buy full electric car it’s very good for local or around 50to 65 miles one way and it’s not good for long distance. Local daily upto 100 miles free if u have home charger. Long distance expensive and waste of time one hour too, like if u travel 200 miles u must have to change in way and again charge when u back it’s also expensive charging on motor way too. I share my experience I have Audi Q4 e tron.
