I always admire people who challenge themselves by listening even to genres / styles they don't necessarily like. Home Free guys focus on country / country pop, but they can do anything (judging based on what I've heard from them so far). Their main style won't appeal to everyone but kudos to you that you keep giving them more chances. To me, they're ones of the most talented vocalists I've listened to.

Hey Y'all. I am SOOOO glad to hear that Dru, you are warming up to what Home Free has to offer. It's not just country. They love pop as well. Home Free just came out with a new song, "Helplessly Hoping" a cover by Crosby, Stills, & Nash. I read in one of the comments on their video, that Tim did the arranging, and that they performed this one "off mic" at the Ryman. You won't believe what you are hearing. This song has the best male 5-part harmony that I've ever heard. I know that you will be sitting there with your mouths open. After you react to it, you are gonna need to watch it again. It is just the most incredible sound they've ever put out, and I love country music and pop. This is their best. OMG!!! Gotta react to it. ASAP! I will be waiting on the notification for it.
