I met Michael as a child when he wrote his book The Holographic Universe. My father picked him up at the airport and we all three drove him to a lecture he was going to speak at. He was a very kind and thoughtful and self aware man. He spoke about his dreams of his death. He died at 38 not long after we met, the same exact age I am now. I still have my personally inscribed book from him. Would be nice to see speak to him again.

Michael was a wonderful man. We were friends and when I would stay at this beautiful a parent in NYNY he would stay up all night with me asking a million questions. There was so much to learn from him there was never enough time. One thing that may sound crazy, but it’s not, the night he passed away he sent me a very vivid dream that ended with a huge hug I could feel all the way through me. It was so special he made me feel so good to know he was still ok and that he chose to come see me one last time. It was such a wonderful he did for me.

Michael Talbot is by far one of the most overlooked and underrated men of this field. It's a shame that skeptics can take the next leap that he was willing to make. I truly wish he were alive today to continue pushing forward in this area of quantum mechanics. As a Christian, I found his book to be something that helped to reconcile the church vs. science argument. Hopefully, MANY MANY years from now people will talk about Talbot the way people talk about Ptolemy.

"As a christian" Well you read the book and you understand things differently. So why bother labeling yourself as a christian anymore? If anything you "Were" a christian and then you learned the truth through reading his literature. You no longer need to hold onto that label anymore. Fly free! enjoy a judgement free life!

My experience is to know we are all of the same mind yet individually on our own path....our path here is to care,share, help one another but we must know ourselves first for inner strength to be able to do this, it is extremely difficult to have this mindset when there are so many ignorant people who appear to do the opposite

Brilliant statement about the 'edge of the map' ("here there be monsters"). Same thing on the macro level. Cosmologists ASSUME macro reality is just a repetition of galaxies, but that's just a prejudice - there could well be another reality on a much larger scale than the total set of galaxies. I'm trying to find out more about the female shaman in Borneo who danced a grove a trees in and out of existence seen by someone she didn't know was watching (as reported in Michael's excellent book).

Or perhaps he really did have an OBE, like many others have had, accompanied by those who have had near death experiences and not only witnessed their body "below" them, but as their thoughts would move to their loved ones, they'd suddenly find themselves within the environment of their loved ones in "real time," and could verify this upon their recovery. And it's not only these things, but a lot of psychic phenomenon such as Remote Viewing, Mediums, etc. It all harmonizes together.

It's the brain doing the thinking when we think by the recalling of our memories. But when we Know ourselves as our Higher Self in touch with our Creator "All That Is", then our thinking can take on a transcendence so that it is not just memories we are recalling that our brains classify as 'thinking'. We are part of a bigger mind than that which is only a memory in our physical brain, but I think the physical brain can get in touch with that greater part of ourselves. Except that Christianity stresses our smallness, and our unworthy-ness, we would understand that we are very powerful beings made in the image of God. Just as Jesus said, "I of myself can do nothing, it is the Father within that does the things you see me do". We have that One within us and without which we could not even lift our little finger. It is about time we shed the notion that it is blasphemy to call ourselves "One with God". We are God when we Know we are God and our potential has barely been tapped. Let's change things by changing the way we think of ourselves. .

Interesting, but this how do explain when memory faculty of our brain is damaged ,as consequence no longer we can recall memory like of the mice experiment result shown. Ehrrr unless experiment results are in superposition behaving like a wave function give rise to amplitude propabilistic answers ,my understanding in quantum mechanics we have never seen duality result between fundamental particles matching macrostates...This does sound in someway in correlation but the inconsistency gap is too big to make a plausible case. Im not convinced but very much open minded ,plenty of mice around but neuroscientists and physicists should be listed most endangered species'

daniel evans We are All made in the image of God. So yes, we are all gods just like Jesus stated. Psalms 82 states this very clearly as well. Our collective consciousness has been brainwashed and purposely programmed to create this world of chaos we live in. Society is in prison. Jesus gleaned the truth from all religions to teach us first WHO we really are, then how to use our god Power in humility according to the Law of Unconditional LOVE. In other words, duality and it's karma are obsolete! This would make sense in why God would allow all the suffering in the World. Truth is, We (collective consciousness) have allowed all the suffering, bc we/humanity have unknowingly misused the Power of God within. We have been unaware. Christ is within All. :) Blessings
@forestsoceansmusic5 жыл бұрын
@@shilohstent1134 This is so shallow. You ASSUME that your Culture's view of a transcendent creator is the correct one; when in reality, that view came from a Bronze-Age Middle-Eastern tribe (the Israelites). That primitive Israelite mythology was added to by an Hellenized Jew, using the Greek Mystery Religion of the 'God-Man', first started in Egypt about 800 B. C. All the events in the life of 'Jesus' were reported in many God-Man Messiahs long before 'Jesus' was supposed to have existed. Even Irenaeus - the first "Christian" heresy-hunter knew of this, and could only explain it by saying that the 'Devil' saw Jesus' future incarnation, so he (the Devil) travelled back in time to set up all those earlier examples of 'Jesus' to discredit 'the real Jesus'. He did not explain why 'Jesus' 'Dad' allowed the Devil so much freedom and power to do that. If Jesus was real, he should've returned when the Roman Catholic Church was torturing and murdering millions of Believers in his name! One more thing: when "Christians" go round preaching of the dangers of "Hell Fire", it is a particularly nasty form of harassment of the gullible. You basically threaten people with a cosmic Gestapo or Gulag for ever and ever and ever. That is WAY more cruel than even Stalin, Hitler and Mao. Any 'god' who would create such merciless cruelty is a monster; or a schizophrenic if 'he' believed 'he' could - which is what the first "Christians" (the Gnostics) believed. Take your blind family Tradition and Delete it out of your head, so you can start thinking for yourself.
