Probably going to get the mini as well mainly for the fact I feel it would be a better fit size wise for my four year-old son when we are out on the course or the driving range sometimes the mic 2 is just too big for him to wear and gets tangled up or in his way when golfing.

can we use dji mic mini2 For Gopro Hero 12 or 13 action cameras
@Chase-ing_GolfАй бұрын
@@MountRudra9vlogs I do know that it’ll work directly with all DJI action cameras, or any other DJI camera, including the drones. It does come with a USB-C adapter, so you should be able to plug it into a GoPro. Now, whether or not GoPro will allow it to sync with it. That is another story. I don’t use GoPro because GoPro has GoPro problems. DJI is just more reliable to me

It is very very helpful if you use the mic very far away from the receiver (or with obstacles on between). I use it all the time when recording my children stageplays... I sneak the mic somewhere near the stage and then Record from afar. That alone is a reason for me not to buy the mini. Every usecase is different...

I just sold my DJI Mic 1 setup and went with the Mic Mini. They sound fantastic and they are much smaller. The 1 and 2 transmitter mics always made my t shirt collar sag, drove me crazy. I never once needed to record audio or mess with anything in post, they sound 10x better than an iPhone or Pocket 3 in camera mic. Save your money and go with the mini
@HikingwithRouletteRunАй бұрын
For many of the reasons you mentioned, I went with the Mic Mini. I love the size and weight of it, and as somebody who intends to be doing a lot of walking with it, that's important. I can tell you, the Mic Mini is quite a step up from my Rode Wireless Go where I really hated the weight of the transmitter on my shirt and purchased a battery powered lav mic to pair with the transmitter. The problems being occasionally, I would forget to either turn the lav mic's power on when recording, or forget to turn the power off and run the battery down. This required me to always have a supply of coin batteries on hand. I only got the Mic Mini earlier this week and have only had the chance to use it in the last clip of one video and a couple of test videos, but so far, I'm very happy with the results to this point.

@ definitely! But the smaller details like if it can be activated through the buttons on the mic, memo app, receiver, or DJI device. I don’t think the DJI Mic 2 has a clipping option available like the Mini does. I haven’t seen or heard of it considering it has 32bit float but that requires editing on the event of clipping which isn’t ideal if you want clip-free audio baked straight into the video. The Rode wireless pro mics have an auto gain option and record 32bit float internally, I thought the DJI Mic 2 would do the same based off of what was said in this video.

I think you missed a key point. I've got the Mic 2, but thinking of selling for the Mic Mini for the size. Main reason is to record in stereo and better quality than the DJI Osmo Action 5. But from another reviewer, I saw mentioned the Mic Mini when connected to your phone via Blue Tooth, the quality drops right off. (not using the DJI receiver) ""Premium Sound Quality (when the transmitters connect to other action cameras/mobile phones via Bluetooth, the sampling rate is only 16kHz, while the Bluetooth connection with Osmo Pocket /Osmo Action supports 48kHz)"

I will share my POV here just in case someone is on the same channel as me. I have got the Pocket 3 Combo that comes with 1 transmitter of DJI Mic 2. I debate for a long time should I get DJI Mic Mini so that I can use the receiver to plug on my Pocket 3 and have 2 transmitters instead. More over, I can use it on my camera (A7IV) or even my iPhone 16 Pro. However, I slowly realised, it would be a hassle to fumble with the connection although you may think it's just plug and play, what's so troublesome about right? I use Pocket 3 extensively now, and to plug the transmitter at the back of the USB port while holding it, it's such a pain in the a**. If I connect it to my iPhone just to record the audio, might as well, I get a Lexar SSD + Hub to record ProRes on my iPhone right? It's also a no brainer, if I connect to A7IV and record just audio, might as well I record videos from my A7IV too? Need not mention, no 32bit float, no internal recording, no 3.5mm for lav mic. I think I am just better off get another DJI Mic 2 transmitter to pair with Pocket 3 instead so I have 2 transmitters auto connect to my Pocket 3 as soon as I turn on. They sounds wayyyyy better too. Just my 2 cents.
