Fantastic video as always man! One thing to note about the keyboards, the AMD model has a replaceable keyboard while the Intel does not (at least not easily). You can see the slight gap on the edge of the KB on the AMD where it slots in.

Thank you so much man! I had already decided which one to purchase but it was still very helpful to get your thoughts since you own both of them. Excellent review!!!

Great comparison. Intel must be throwing wads of cash at Lenovo to get these custom builds. That said, I recently priced out similar builds between the two and the Intel was at least $500 more. It's Lenovo, so it depends on the day of the week and the time of day as to pricing, but no matter there seems to be a pretty big price gap between the two. Only the buyer can decide if that's worth it given how close these are overall.

Mad helpful thx! The chart at the end will help me decide:) You should do a Thinkpad P14s Intel vs Zenbook 14 next

It's a pity the AMD version only comes within a 52.5Wh battery (in my region anyway). I still have a P14s with the Ryzen 7 5850u, and it's still pretty good. I use it as a Linux workstation, and replaced the trackpad with a glass one (it make so much difference!). Even with its old tiny battery, I'm squeezing around 8 hours of light use out of it (just browsing, and doing stuff on the terminal). Looks like I might go for a TongFang GX4 this time around...

Great review and comparison - thanks! I'm refreshing my Gen 3 T14 with AMD because I can't stand how frequently it chokes on sleep mode, a well known issue on the AMD-based model. Any sign of sleep mode instability on this AMD?
@Slap_TechКүн бұрын
I don't endorse using sleep mode on any Windows machine. I'm a strictly on/off kind of dude.

great video im looking fora laptop mostly to run adobe illustrator and photoshoot. I'm considering the AMD without the oled. or the Yoga pro 7 AMD that has a dedicated RTX 3050 any thoughts?
@pouf-dk3nq5 күн бұрын
Both amazing laptops, I would choose the Intel one for the nvidia graphics, it supports iommu and bunch of virtualization features (allows you to split the GPU for different guests) of course I would buy this laptop refurbished since they last for a long time. BTW will you review the gen6 T14 AMD ? its price is ludicrous right now though

They didn't, just the 8845HS is a higher power CPU.

I’ve read conflicting info about the intel version having a soldered battery, in your experience was that true?
@Slap_Tech6 күн бұрын
@@PureLuck21 Not in my experience. I was able to unscrew it. Unplugging it was too intimidating, so I didn't try. 😅 The AMD is easier, not even a cable, it just plugs right in.

And AMD laptop is 200$ cheaper. So yeah, AMD is the winer here :)
@nhanNguyen-wo8fy5 күн бұрын
No it's not just 200$. Ultra 7 cpu with bigger battery alone cost 200$ more 😂 let alone an Nvidia dGPU
@arsicpedja4 күн бұрын
@nhanNguyen-wo8fy I searched by exact model number and looking at prices at the same store, yeah it is 200 dollars difference.
@fretbuzzly8 сағат бұрын
I priced out similar AMD and Intel versions of this just this week and the Intel was $500+ more. You have to play around with the Lenovo site to get the best prices. My first build comparison showed a $900 difference between the two.
