Hi! Nice video, thanks a lot :) I have a question: I currently have 8gb RAM in my Lenovo X250. Can I replace that 8gb with one card of 16gb? or how can I add the 8gb to get to a total of 16gb RAM? Thanks again.

Sorry for such a late response, Enrico. Since the Lenovo Thinkpad x250 only has on SO-DIMM slot equipped onboard, you would have to install a single 16GB SO-DIMM module. If you navigate to Corsair's website, you should be able to search for a module that is compatible with your laptop. You can also search Amazon too and ask particular vendors selling these modules to also locate one that will work for the Lenovo x250. I hope this helps! Again, sorry for such a late response!

It's to ensure there is no possibility of power going through any components while you are physically installing/uninstalling them from the system, giving rise to the possibility of a short circuit.

Yes, just make sure the RAM you purchase PC3L-12800s DDR3L 1.35v. I have used Samsung, Kingston, and Crucial brands in these model laptops but perfer Crucial brand. You can purchase Crucial brand memory for these laptops by using the links in my description!

Exactly! Reason I made note of this in the comments to ensure anyone performing this procedure on their laptop, purchased the correct SO-DIMM module. The DDR4 modules that the X260 laptops use are larger and have more pins in their hardware configuration.
