VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
Hi everybody,
The Election season in the United States is heating up !! And since it is the election of the most powerful country in the world, every single country on earth is biting its nails to see who will become the president of the united states of America!!
Now if we keep politics aside, I consider Donald Trump to be the most incredible case study of marketing because, if you look at the Donald Trump vs Hilary Clinton clash in 2016, Hilary was easily the most powerful and win worthy candidate!! And Trump was a disaster on paper!! Why?? Look at these report cards
Hilary Clinton had been in public service for 43 years
She was the first lady of united states for 8 years 1993 to 2001 when Bill clinton was president
She was elected as a U.S. Senator from New York and served two terms from 2000 to 2009,
And most importantly, Hillary Clinton served as the Secretary of State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013.
And in this tenure, she was responsible for the most important projects in the country like the U.S. foreign policy, handling of major crises like the Arab Spring, voicing the women's rights issue at the global stage and she even oversaw the killing of Osama bin Laden!!!
But if you look at Trump, he had nothing close to Hilary’s achievements
Trump has zero experience in public office, foreign policy, or government service.
While Hilary worked hard to serve the people of America, Trump ran a reality show called Apprentice and had nothing to do with public service!! While Hilary was known to be a hard working patriot, Trump was known for his luxury hotels and casinos!! and most importantly, while Hilary was known to be a seasoned diplomat, Donald trump was known for his controversial and brash statements all across the world!!
On top of that, Hilary had 2 more superpowers in her favor!! Barack Obama himself publicly endorsed Hilary and most importantly Hilary also had the support of the American media!! Whereas Donald trump was just mocking material for them!
But even then the entire world was shocked to see that Donald Trump became the president of the United states of america!! And even now 8 years later, Donald trump is up against Kamala harris has been the attorney general of California, a US senator, and now a vice president.
So he is deploying the exact same tactic to win the 2024 elections and hold the most powerful position in the world!!!
So the question is,
Without an experience in politics, without the media support and with no credibility to stand as president, how on earth did Donald trump beat Hilary Clinton who had every attribute to win?
What were his marketing and election strategies to put a dent in the Political system of America?
How is he using the same tactics now in 2024?
And most importantly, what are the lessons that we need to learn from the Genius marketing Strategies of Donald Trump?

@@curious_one1156 Problem I think here is Hitler openly called himself a communist and he was an un-elected leader of the Nazi Socialist Party(Left wing, and Hitler was 3rd in Line, out of which two people ahead of him mysteriously died, do read this history, it is so interesting) but trump here is a very right wing, pro-privatisation, tax cuts and economic independence promoting leader. He was also LEGALLY elected as president in 2016, but did instigate an insurgence in 2020 due to him thinking that they had their election stolen. So I guess that's also a good reason to compare Trump to Hitler.

It's like saying Imran Khan is the best PM because no war happened between Pakistan and enemy nations in his tenure, war doesn't happen like that, Russia's Ukraine invasion wouldn't happen if it wasn't for COVID. Anyways, wars in Africa are continuously happening since 2000s but you wouldn't know about it because world media doesn't talk about it, or maybe because White Skin >> Black Skin, also, most wars in Africa are funded by Russia/US/EU, so yea.

@@srijangdas4572 I nowhere called Trump as best President I don't know what made you say that Imran Khan is best PM because no war happened between Pakistan and it's enemies. Read the sentence again and understand. Oh according to your logic Russia Ukraine war started because of COVID LoL. It started on February 24 2022 which is almost post COVID after a minor weak omicron wave. And it started mainly because of Eastward expansion of NATO which Biden resumed violating a verbal promise made to Russia in 90s that NATO wouldn't expand far into Eastern Europe. But Baltic countries joined NATO, Poland Joined and other Eastern Bloc countries also joined eventually. Then came Ukraine's aspiration to join NATO which shares a very big border with Russia. It was expected as Biden was carrying forward the Obama presidency's work. And I think you are not aware of Euromaidan uprising in Ukraine when it's leader Viktor Yanukovych decided suddenly not to sign EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Then massive protests broke out supported by the whole international media and other external powers which eventually led to Revolution of Dignity and also resignation of Viktor Yanukovych and his ministers. Then under an interim government Russia annexed Crimea by force in 2014. It has it's roots since the Soviet Union disintegration times. Citing Covid as reason for Russia Ukraine war is silly. And yes wars in Africa are happening since long time they are civil wars and are fuelled by Russia, USA at covert level by supporting regimes friendlier to them whether it's civilian or military regime doesn't matter to them till the regime is favourable to them. I spoke about overall bigger no major wars between two countries when I meant there were no major wars.

In August of 2016 Trump spoke at a rally in Michigan and said “Communities here crumbled while skyscrapers went high in Shanghai”. That one powerful like probably sealed him the election in Michigan and other “battleground states” such as Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Hillary didn’t campaign properly in those states. 2024 Trump isn’t the same as 2016 since he has had 8 years to prove himself and he’s turned into a transactional politician. Please do a case study on Vivek Ramaswamy’s strategy of doing 70+ podcasts for his campaign. I so wanted him to be the nominee, since he has excellent economic and foreign policy ideas

I understand that you have to make a concise video on a very deep topic but I do believe this one missed more shots than it hit. American politics are almost as complex as India and the deep partisanship, constitutional history(which is ~200 years old) and internet culture has a deep impact on their election outcomes. I think it's great to watch America make these mistakes and learn because historically, the same tactics are customised and deployed in India soon after. THAT should be the case study. Not Donald Trump but the death of democracy under Corporatocracy.
