Quality issues are definitely there. I complained to Patanjali for 4 different products till now but got no solution. Two powders that I bought (Brahmi, Ashwagandha) had quite a high amount of sand/ mitti in them.

Most of the people in comment section I can see are criticizing him for calling Patanjali a failure even though it's still in the market selling nicely. Well I think I can clarify this, though would love his as well..... Using 'fail' word might be a thumbnail and tagline gimick... But his point was Patanjali saw a massive growth in revenue and profits uptill 2017, but suddenly, its revenue staggered and profit started to decline.... As a business student and entrepreneur, this is actually something to study about. Patanjali has some product lines that are massive hits like Dant Kanti, Soaps etc. But it also has some product lines that failed financially like Patanjali Atta Noodles. While he covered important points like lack of cutting edge technology, some marketing issues etc... He missed on one point that was constant product innovation. Patanjali's star products contantly underwent improvement. I remember in initial days, Dant Kanto didn't smell, taste and feel good. But Patanjali improved its product including packaging and design to give it the feel which competitors like closeup and Colgate gives. But Patanjali Aata noodles never improved. It just remained the same. Also, they just focused on Swadeshi versions of Videshi products rather creating a new innovative product. When they did, they were a massive hit (Dant Kanti, Soap, Honey etc.) Quality issues were definitely there. Patanjali cow ghee was something my family always used, but we shifted to Govardhan recently because of quality issues (it didn't even melt in scorching 2024 summer heat). So yay, Patanjali is one of the best Swadeshi brands that's definitely a big inspiration. But lack of cutting edge technology, incorrect pr and marketing, staying away from innovation and useless diversification hampered its growth. This case study reminds me of a story of Steve Jobs (I am also a huge steve jobs fan)... At a new year eve celebrations with senior management team of Apple, Steve went on the board and wrote top 10 best things to do this decade. Others wrote, then they wrote it in a priorty order. Then Steve went on the board and rubbed bottom 7 and said we will only focus on top 3. One of them was iPhone. So yes, in business, 'Raita faila ke kuchh nahi milega'. The point is Ganya failed miserably to file the study and published it with some sort of Jugaad like Patanjali did with their products. But I guess fail faster is today's formula of going forward. It is much affordable for Patanjali Group. the only thing is that they have to rectify it and move ahead. because they have built that capacity to address the world now. If we leave the mere marketing stunt they really have established world class facilities at their place which even Indian Government has took many years and still don't have. During covid peak they even able to shut the mouth of the then IMA President who later agreed that they are not merely uttering some words in air and has donesome sort of research. Like Ganya did now, IMA targeted Patanjali during covid with incomplete information. However Patanjali invited the people's to visit and rectify their lab and other things they are doing then take a call on what they were claiming about. See the point is everything cannot be attained in fraction of time. And in my opinion Ganya should have focused on that core business part rather getting biased. Instead he also went in the flow of triggering same mistake of hurting sentiments instead of designing the case study. May be his group must not have got any sponsorship from Patanjali or whatever the reason is. It takes time for things to happen. But if you are learning wrong formula you will end up with wrong answer. It is not necessary that an equation needs to be solved by the same formula. Their are numerous ways to address it. Like US plays on their economy. Europe with their Union, China with it's dictatorship. Similarly, India on basis of the Patriotism. (HUL utilized this strategy way back which Patanjali is utilizing with inheritance.) Yes but this has proven me that like any other KZbin influencer Ganya is also a mere Jugaad chipkao channel. The GST taxation system is a lot better than whatever we had before, its a lot less complicated where earlier you absolutely needed an accountant with GST if you have knowledge of accountancy till 12th standard you can file your own taxes like personal income tax. Its not killing small businesses its giving businesses with a drive to grow a chance to become bigger with a lot less red tape, companies which fail to adapt are going to fail in this situation because their competitors will eat up their market share. Is the GST taxation system perfect- No, but its slowly and surely taking steps in the right direction. It is a mistake to jump the wagon and go on to make viral claims about curing random diseases, especially cancer. Fighting against Pharma isn't bad. But it's important to understand that the FDA and other bodies exist to protect citizens.

Patanjali is definitely going through backlash with the Urban Audience.....but they were never the prime focus of Patanjali .... They always focused on tier 2 & 3 and lower income sections of society among them and the IGNORANT it's still a star product due to its pricing and ayurvedic claims despite it being false ...this section of audience just really doesn't care ......I think u need to revisit the research behind the video....😅 And major fall I think the reason for adding diverse range before cracking one hero product ....they became jack of all and master of none .....such poor quality products for low price could only survive for a short span and moreover False claims like CORONIL ....led to fall of brand image of the company.....i think this is the major reason of fall

@@shantanugupta8796 Why would I need any research paper to know if it's good? Using the product for many years. Especially dant kanti, found much better than colgate. No side-effects, cleans the teeth well, no long term effects (personally using for many years), found price to be as per market & its an Indian brand. Not just that, found many of their products really good eg. Atta, Ghee, Shampoo, Dish Washing soap(my mom has allergy & she cannot use vim & similar soaps because she feels the pain immediately but with patanjali's utensil soap absolutely no problem). Having said that, I don't like their bathing soaps, toothbrushes, facewash etc. No need to boycott or support any company. Choose the best product for yourself which suits your needs, Simple.
