The sequel trilogy made Master Skywalker a bumbling fool. Jon Faviro and Dave Faloni had to fix him. This season was awesome. I liked how they were able to have 4 strong female characters handle business without beating us over the head with the fact that they’re females(Marvel could learn from this) No bullshit lines like “What you think we can’t do it cause we’re girls?” They just went out and did it, because the characters were well written. My only gripe is the episodes were too damn short! I can’t help but feel a little robbed. I hope this gets remedied next season.

I thought the fight with Boba was a little cringe. He had leverage, how could she pull him forward. I wouldn't even complain if she roughed Boba up in the fight but don't make the fight cringe. If he had beat her down and she used a clever gadget to knock Boba on his ass that would have been better.

@@vectorfox4782 i do have an idea for that: since Mark Hamill Luke Skywalker & Patrick Stewart Capt Picard do agree in liking both Star Wars and StarTrek and both get along well, and want to see the two franchise together, as both complement each other, put Michiu Kaku, Neil deGrasse & Bill Nye in some cosmic cameo capacity, The MANDALORIAN writers could write something like Luke exploring for wisdom and knowledge in the Universe, even beyond time and space, by using the force, reaching out to Earth millions if years in the future, billion of light years away, and find Capt Picard; let's say Luke saving Picard's butt with an encounter with several RED (not black) Borg ships WITH A BORG KING (as opposed to a Borg Queen) from another dimension or what have you & Luke in return get paid for his favor by using their time travel technology to create a new TIMELINE for Star Wars, using the very same actors. And HELL, Bring the Enterprise too. Nothing wrong with the actors in the latest Trilogy, SO USE THEM AGAIN, just the storyline was bad IMHO and to please have the MANDALORIAN TEAM to do the new TRILOGY OF STAR WARS bc they really know what they are doing.

Honestly I was slightly disapointed when I saw the x-wing and realized is was probably Luke and not Ezra....and yet I still counted on it being Ezra and was almost disappointed when it ended up being Luke as I had originally suspected...but then it just excited me for the slow burn of having Ezra and Thrawn revealed and be prominent to the plot in season 3 instead :) Literally bursting at the seems to see the crossover event between all these series and characters next year :)

This episode made me feel like I was a kid again watching SW. When the jedi showed up I thought "what if it's Luke?" But I thought nah no way, they are probably not going to have Mark show up as Luke and if so they would use another actor playing younger Luke or if so they would use de-aging cg, turns out it was the latter. fans reaction to Master Skywalker isnt because he may have been the most powerful force user in star wars history no, its simply because Luke Skywalker didn't just show up and be over powered like Rey. it is because Luke Skywalker embraccesd the Hero's Journey. He had struggles, trials and failures and then rose above them. That is why the crowd went nuts and the reappearance of Master Skywalker. Luke earned his fan following REY did not.

This show has proved time and time again that it truly has the real Star Wars fans in it’s thoughts, everything in it is catered beautifully to make the fans happy and nostalgic and just pay perfect homage to Star Wars. It’s done more for the fans than all the new movies combined. I’m not a huge Star Wars fan myself, but watching reaction videos from this show and seeing how happy it has made the fans makes me respect it so, so much. They truly know what the fans want and how to respect the franchise. It’s everything a new series taking place in an old franchise should be.

I think the risk of that leaking was too high. I mean, Sebastian Stan is kind of a big name nowadays. It would be almost impossible to hide the news of him having any relation to the Star Wars brand. I was going to make this comment if no one else has. They even said light cruiser a bunch of times. I assume they think this means they're calling boba's ship a "light" cruiser and not the class of ship, "light cruiser". But yea, it seemed pretty obvious they were talking about Gideon's ship

I think after grogu is trained a bit he will return to the show. Though I agree that the retaking of mandalore will be the main focus I am pretty sure moff Gideon will some how escape and link up with other remnants

I don't even like star wars but binged these two seasons in one weekend. I love seeing Mando's growth and his interactions with Grogu and others. Whole season really exemplified the idea that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and that no character is completely black or white. Glad that season 3 will be out soon. Then i'll binge that and be back in tv show limbo.
