Are you able to connect the internal side camera to the multiplexer? I have a similar setup as yours but i dont need the external cams.

So even though with parking mode, you still would need an external battery?

Hi OJ Kenny, wanted to ask as well if it is possible to charge the multiplexer box using only the cellink battery and not having to hardwire the multiplexer box to the car. Not sure how the multiplexer gets its power whether it has be connected to a vehicle fusebox. Not sure how the wiring would need be done to make this work, (whether yellow & black wire) from multiplexer hardwire kit should be connected to cellink hardwire. I am planning to make a system where i connect the cellink battery using a ciagrette lighter to a cigarette lighterpowerbank rather than to car. My main is question is to find if it is possible not hardwire anything to the carfuse box but still see the footage by hardwiring to the cellink battery, so both the multiplexer and dashcam receive power from the cellink battery.

The quality if the cameras are not such nice like your previous ones but good to check all round of the car

I know, felt the same way but since this is mainly purpose of this set up is to help in the case of an insurance claim and remains permanent on the car then its manageable unlike the one I use on the driving videos which I only put on the car when I need to make those videos or test. Plus the technology for 2k or 4k videos on a 5 channel setup is not yet accessible so for now will have to settle for 1080p

It has actually helped on my most recent test at Bishop Stortford, check it out

Hi OJ Kenny, I was wondering if it possible to view the 4 cameras footage live, by connecting the video output to a dvr monitor. I know you can currently via it live on a smartphone app, but for a more permanent solution whether you can have monitor in the car always to view the footage live. Useful in summer to view annoying bikers and cyclist going on the sides of the car.

Hi Joseph I have an external monitor i previously used with my DSLR camera so will have a try. Although fingers crossed the cable required to plug in to the dash cam is the same but it will definitely be cool to find out if it works 😀

@@OJKENNY Hi OJ Kenny, thanks for your reply, after you are able to do this, just wondering if a video duplicater splitter cable can be used so you can then have the dashcam still record the video but also have the live monitor view. Check this video of the Hyundai Tucson of the temporary blind spot camera that comes when a signal is done, whereas with monitor the benefits are that the footage will always be there ;) link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4icoZuFYq9sg5o
