When I did my GGBO 22 guitar, the pieces for the top were cupped and I didn't have enough to plane it out. I used a heat gun on the crowned side to draw out the moisture on that side. It worked a treat and it flattened out almost completely. I did a video on it. I don't want to link it here without your okay, but I will link it if you'd like to see it.
