Man, that looks relaxing as hell. Id be asleep. Yall have to get me some kinda neck brace or sling to keep my head up. My dreads havent been twisted for ten years. Went for the whole natural growth. But with natural growth you get natural results. Dreads break off and replace each other. Clump together and grow in the wrong direction or flat. All kinds of things. Might go into maintenance real soon. Great vid!

Hey damain i restarted my set of locs for the second. Time it was lookin ok thick and healthy for months but now its been alot of breaking. And thining my roots are still thick but my locs are thining and some part of my hair is very fine i asked around what i can do to thickin my hair better this Jamaican guy told me i need to use baby oil and i havent yet but i was wondering would that help my locs from thining? I use mango and lime products and alot of people say i need to switch my products. It could be that type of product thats making my locs not come out right. I wish you was in my area so i can see you and you can save my dread disaster

Hello, I have been locked for 12 years now. In the beginning I was able to keep up routine visits to my stylist, who does a dynamite job of keeping my hair healthy. However, due to my economic downturn I have been doing my hair at home more often. I noticed on your video that you mentioned that you do product testing. Can you recommend some root stimulators that I cane use that will not flare up my psoriasis. Thank you!

There is too much tension on your maintenance, thinning is normally caused by the service provider.

Damian Walter right now i'm using Jamaican CACTUS LEAVE IN MOISTURIZER but i'm thinking of switching to black castor oil because i heard it makes hair grow fast and i'm tryna make my hair grow as fast as possible but apparently the black castor oil is thick and i don't want my hair to be stiff so should i mix a little bit of the black castor oil with the Jamaican CACTUS LEAVE IN MOISTURIZER so it doesn't make my hair stiff? .....but if u think i shouldn't, do u know any other healthy hair products that can make hair grow fast? ............and ya don't worry i take good care of my hair lol

Is it just me but I thought when you see clumps of gel at the toot of the loc you're using to much???? It also seems that pulling his locs through that rubber band can be stressful on the hair. Why do you play that music in the backgrounds; the music drowns you out.

people, locs are not some mystical, magical enigma. locs are actually easy to start. you can start them yourself IF you've done your research. if you don't feel comfortable starting or maintaing then interview knowledgeable lockticians whose work you've seen. i love damian's videos because he offers a wealth of info. he's given so much info through his videos that you should be armed w/enough knowledge to begin locking. damian can't possibly get to every city so do your research.

What's the name of your line? My locs are starting to thin. I retwist my dreads every month and a half to two months. I also have very, very dry scalp. No matter what I put in my hair it's dry a few hours later. I want to use your line to see if it helps. Do you recommend me starting my dreads all over? If not, what do you recommend other than your line? I use DreadHead HQ products right now.

Can't understand why u're palmrollin locs that r already thin n look like they're bout to pop! U only palmroll strictly to keep locs neat t4 occasionally. N combin the roots r a BIG no no! U r interfering with the knots ie buds on the inside of the locs. U need to do ur homework n bttr wear locs urself to get the real gist!

Hey, there are products on your website, are these the products that you said that you make yourself?? If not, are the products that you make available for sell? Also, do you have any thoughts on Carols Daughter products for loc maintenance?

After watching his videos I believe I can respond to this. First he palmrolls but there isnt an extra amount of tension being put on the hair. His clients locks are thin, but they are far from "about to pop" Watch Tragedy thinning locks. Combing the roots has no affect on "knots ie buds" because the hair hasnt started to do that yet. If anything he's combing the kinks down into the lock. And if I remember correctly he did at one time wear locks. He cut them as most lock wearers do at some point.
