Russell Simmons came to flint to give bottle water and give his take on the water issue that is nice, handouts are helpful but hand ups are much better. Russell Simmons, I give em credit for going to flint to make a donation. Russell take it a step further and have your shoes and clothes made In Flint and Detroit, instead of over seas and China. That would help bring a better tax base into the community. With a fair honest wage. Come on Russell you can do it. Made In The USA. Many other Well to do celebrities and real rich sports stars, should also help these places in flint and America, some even grew up in these neighborhoods. Don't just say I got mine and run to the hills. Start making products you have made overseas right here in these communities in America and pay a fair wage. Hand outs are nice. but hand ups with a job are much better. Lip service is only good with action behind it.
