Andressa Crispim i lived with my grandma in college and one night was watching the descent in the dark by myself like a dummy at 2am... suddenly i hear footsteps on the porch and a scratching noise at her glass sliding door. I’m freakin out and it turns out to be my stupid uncle drunk (after driving) and looking for somewhere to crash for the night. 🤦‍♀️

Matthew Lillard was the highlight of the film. He and the lawyer were the only ones who nailed the campy attitude. Not that the lawyer was great, but i suppose it worked for a few minutes before he died.

Fight me, but I think this is the perfect movie for children, who absolutely want to see a horror flick. Even with the gore it's somewhat tame. Edit: But they would have to watch this Joey-movie with the ventriloquist doll first, to prove they're worthy.

If not for Lillard and the design of the Monsters this movie would have been even worse. But i Dont consider It has though, just that It did not manage to use the 100% of the potential. I really Hope they remake this or make a TV series about the ghosts. The ghosts were the best

P.s. nice Kung pow joke. This movie came out right around my highschool years. I was pretty stupid back then. I remember liking it for the most part but that ending ruined it for me. Im not a fan of happy cheesing ending and especially in horror. Probably liked it cause I had a hug Cruse in Shannon Elizabeth too

When I win the lottery I am recreating both this set and the one from the dreadful but sublimely set designed 90s version of the haunting, complete with excessive use of velvet stepping stones and creepy carousel of mirrors. The most obnoxious of uber modern and uber Victorian..Then me and select pets and companions would go.there and shut ourselves away from the world and get spooky!

In my opinion; this was one of the best horror movies I’ve ever watched. And 18 years later; I’m still obsessed with it. I’ve got tattoos to tribute the movie as well. Honestly I don’t see why this movie constantly gets so much hate. Good actors. Good makeup. Good concept all around. If you fail to realize that then I’m sorry for you. You’re missing out. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I like you none the less. You’re funny. But honestly man give it another chance.

Yessss ! theNewBee is back! One of my favourites! Despite it's flaws (and the lacking ghost's backstories they didn't include as they should have, or at least conveniently cashed on a spin off series, or a prequel ! You forgot to talk about Dennis becoming a ghost just like Chris Kattan's character from 'House on Haunted Hill' (1999). 9:48 So "love" means "sacrifice," eh? Here's the problem I have with this sort of right-hand-path uber-altruism. If everyone is an expendable commodity of some cruel and fictitious "greater good," then who gets to decide who's more expendable than whom? If we’re being real, this movie would have 100% be able to get a PG-13 if not for the Angry Princess. Most of the gore was relatively tame, and most of the violence wasn’t actually shown. Having said that, I don’t think this movie would be nearly as memorable without a The Angry Princess (and the Jackal), so I guess it was worth it. Though I do think if they were going to get an R rating, they should have done a bit more. It’s quite possible that they initially intended to get a PG-13 and cut around the Angry Princess’s more private bits but couldn’t do so, idk. But this never felt like a legit rated R movie to me. Even most of the swears felt ad-libbed and unnecessary.

I've watched this as a kid, and this scared the living shit out of me. The "chubby Mc baby freak" ghost scared me, so did the "princess" ghost. And the part where the lawyer gets sliced scared me too. And watching you reviewing this movie and making jokes out of this makes me choke up my pepsi lol. I once watched this movie as I was a teenager (probably 13 or 14). Years later I still remembered some scenes and thought it was so scary and cool but I couldn’t remember the name of it. As I finally found and watched it the second time it was less terrifying than I expected 🤫😬 but it’s still one of my favorite movies Thanks for the video!

I’m trying to find a movie having a friendly ghost but it’s not Casper (Casper movie is good tho), can anyone help me? Cause everytime i google about good ghosts the results will be Casper. A boy go visit an old castle with his family, they scared by a ghost, later the boy find that the ghost is good (he just a bit rude), then he help the ghost find its memory and what it have done in the past ( because the ghost can’t remember anything and stuck in the castle). In the end the kid discover a statute of a man( maybe it’s the ghost’s human form). That’s all I remember, if you have watched this film please help me i would be so grateful because i’ve been finding it for years 🙇‍♂️
