You had to be there guys. They killed it and the crowd was in awe of Jared's powerful voice. The crowd was loud but the acoustics in the arena are very cool so a lot of it wasn't heard over the performers.

An amazing performance by an incredibly talented young man. Prior to this concert, no one had an inkling Jared Letto would walk away with an Oscar in 2014 for the "Best Actor in a supporting Role." Was he acting here? You bet and he's damn good at it, reminds me a bit of Robert Plant in his heyday. What's so wrong with that? so im not a huge fan of 30 seconds to mars, but am appreciating them some, the cover of stay on BBC live lounge was pretty good, growing respect for jared leto. their style just isnt quite my style, so guilty pleasure i guess.. his crowd control was awesome here especially for a crowd that has way fewer fans of theirs than just a 30 seconds to mars concert.

In the beginning I struggled to like this band too for the very same reason that it just wasn't the kind of music I usually listen to. But there was something in Jared's voice, that made me come back again and again and by now I can't really stop listening to them, though I do have to admit I still struggle with their earlier work, which is a lot further outside the kind of music I usually listen to than their later stuff.

Don't apologize for not being a pop band. I for one am glad that you are not. I thought they were fantastic and from what I understand, they got a damn good response compared to most of the pop acts. They got some good participation from what seemed to be a small (compared to their usual concert audiences) and mostly pop audience. Most of them probably were new to this group. Good for 30STM.
