Nightscape familiar could be good but it'll eat all the creature removal. Snap is also a nice trick to untap your sol lands. I bought the cards for this deck as it is very cheap (besides the petals). I've seen it do very well but also very poorly. Looking forward to see myself how good it is.

I can't believe how many people still don't know about the Mercadian Masques depletion lands. They've always been fantastic in commanders like Atraxa and silly combo decks.

I first really noticed them when I saw someone playing Godo Helm in a cEDH video. They are pretty good when you need to hit a certain threshold and just win from there anyways and don't have to worry about the downside. Or just proliferate a shitton

My guess is that you need to build something similar to pauper tron. Instead of tron being ramp, we have the proliferate-based ramp. And play a slower control plan with a poison wincon.

Great video like always, I always love these pauper videos, they often seem like really unique decks to me, and it's nice seeing someone who isn't afraid to mess up piloting the deck cause it helps show that no one is perfect

I wish proliferate would become an evergreen mechanic it has so many utilities from Aggro (toxic is a great example and 1/1 counters) to control (planeswalkers). Proliferate is such a fun mechanic that allows for 100s of different combinations of choices among your permanents and opponents permanents. 10/10 mechanic

Vraska's Fall is some removal that can add poison counters. Not great but this deck needs something. Blighted agent also doubles as both a blocker that can slow creature decks down or just free infect damage.

I've been thinking on cards when i saw them spoiled and I personally think that the draw give a poison counter could work in a Fams shell haven't been able to play with yet but the fact that you get cast ephemerate, arccaomancer,and ghostly flicker to keep bringing the cards back could work

I've been building a dimir infect deck using a lot of similar things, although it focuses a bit more on getting cheap, evasive creatures with infect and proliferate based removal to control the board. Ofcourse, I don't often play against meta decks, since the playgroup I intend to use it in focuses more on brewing than tournament play.

Looks a lot like SaidenRaiken's version, after he took out the lotus petals. I've been enjoying that version of the deck and I agree its *really* hard to pilot as there are so many variables to decision trees

7:54 I don’t think this is a mistake. You want them to Galvanic Blast you on your turn instead of on their turn because if they do it on your turn you get extra storm count for Weather the Storm, so dropping to 4 life is the sickest bait imaginable

I think this strategy might fit in another deck as a secondary wincondition, maybe another combo deck that also wants proliferate? Or something that can copy spells, then cast them from the graveyard again? Im no a pauper expert tho, and i don't like the format either, so i would probably try to do it in another format.

Honestly I think like 2 copies of a discard draw card would be good. Idk if it would be good, but Cathartic Reunion is a pretty good choice to get rid of all those lands. I would only play like 2 to be fair, but it might help and can be castable off the prisms

I mostly run commander BUT any deck that runs alot of planeswalkers or likes counters I do my best to shove as much proliferate and poison stuff in there because VAULE. Like today I was running my thasha historic brawl deck and my opponent was just really kicking my ass, thasha had been sent to the bin like 5 times over the course of the game, but on turn 3 I played infectious inquiry ,could be wrong about the name but it's black and 2 to draw 2 cards, lose 2 life and opponent gets a poison counter, anyways I had proliferate several times trying to get the thasha ult off but never could so I went...ok you got 6 poison, can I get 4 more on you, and like lucky girl o ripped a...I forget the name of it, creature, when you play a non creature spell proliferate, anyways slammed her down, played my whole hand lol like if I could play it it didn't matter if it was good I just did lol I targeted my own creature with removal and countered it myself just to make sure I got the 4 extra counters on my opponent.

I think this deck would be better off as a simic Fog deck. Preventing damage by using fog effects when necessary, and poisoning the opponent on the way. Also needs more card draw instead of so much mana sources, I think.

Hey, just a little Info it doesn't matter at all how many Subs you have these days. The only important thing is watchtime and that people click your videos. Subs can actually be bad for your viewcount cause if some don't click your videos it hurts your recommended feed a lot. I think around 30% Subs could actually be ideal.

MD Weather the Storm effectively makes this deck worse. Play something that draws cards or kills stuff, proliferates, or at least makes some mana instead.

Not a deck strength issue, more of user issue imo. Deck is not easy to play, 100% agreed. You need to treat it like a combo deck. 3 games isnt nearly enough to know how well you are doing but an astute observer will notice the big mistakes you did right from the very first game. When you play a certain archetype, you need to keep a habit of doing things a certain way.
