@juansimon5802 Жыл бұрын
this is the easy way. he never filed it or shaped it.just hammer it flat,there is no definition. gaps are huge between links. i wouldnt even call this a Cuban, its a curb chain.

This chain is pure craftmanship and an alternative investment. When i first noticed the bar getting hammered i was a little like why do this to a Nice new 10oz shiny goldbar, but when i looked at it come through the valse/ mill what you Call it in English and he pulled thread trough a diy and rolled it to rings, i understood the idea, but the welding was very pro, and Nice detail not filing of Gold but get facettes anyway, and the w/Thai/chinese lock is perfect for pendants.. i wonder how much just the Labour cost, to figure out if it is a really good or good investment alternative, so you Can wear your invest.. you cannot really wear a bar without a chain😉 Nice work Boss👍

Flying in the US you have to declare if you have more then 10k gold bullion. Jewelry doesn't count so your chain could be worth 20k and you wouldn't have to declare it.

K is for Carats not for thousands
@johno1544 Жыл бұрын
@@AgeITA88 K comes from the Greek word kilo which means a thousand. Also you should really used the word Karat for gold and Carat for gemstones
@johno1544 Жыл бұрын
@@youknoweverything7643 Bars and coins are considered bullion so that dosent count as jewelry. So a kilo bar of gold you have to declare since that would be worth well over 10k. A large Cuban chain that weighs 1 kilo is jewelry so you dont have to declare it. Understand?

Making a 30 thousand dollar chain with rusty pliers is wild lol. Shit just the gold is almost 30k not including labor. Bravo 👏 and fuck all the haters saying they didn’t do it right. People have been making gold chains for thousands of years with pretty much this same method minus the blow torches. It’s equally about the gold as it is the craftsmanship of being able to wear a gold chain opposed to carrying a bar in your pocket and pulling it out to look at it every once in a while. Knights were given chains and medals for serving in the army in the Middle Ages pretty cool

@@jewelator At this point in time, financially, I am no where near of owning one, but the truth is, nothing can stop me from dreaming, that one day in the future, I will get to wear it for real. If given the opportunity, it is never my intention to show off to others because I know, there are hundreds of millions of people out around the world are struggling to even make ends meet. Priority will always be given for the things you need in life such as food, shelter, education, healthcare, basic amenities and so forth. As long as the basic needs have been achieved, it should be alright that every once in a while, to reward oneself with nice things in life. If wearing this gold necklace can make me happy, then why not! So, nothing can stop me now. My mind is set. That necklace is mine.
