so glad you do mechanical pencil reviews too: have been aware of this for a while but it just seems like a lot for a mp:)

The basic Kuru Toga Mech pencil is great. But looking at the price and what it does, I can see why it at the price point what it is. Not many other pen manufacturers don’t really want to focus on a pleasant user experience when it comes to mechanical pencils. uni-ball looks like they know how to really produce a high quality mechanical pencil. Definitely want to get my hands on one to try it!

Wait for 2 years, it will calm down. The Orenz nero was a $60 pencil, now $20.

Love using my Dive! Ridiculously over engineered and funky, but very fun. The adjustment knob at the tip changes how much lead is automatically advanced. The speed of the rotation is fixed on the Dive. I have mine set at 1 click under max while using soft 2B lead.

I love mine too but I’m Wondering how you guys make the dive extending its lead by itself. I know my mechanism works but just while writing I’m not able to make it force the lead out itself.

@@anlaufer9451 You might be writing with too light of a touch. The automatic function of the Dive is tied to the kuru toga engine. Look up how the KT engine works, and it will explain how the automatic function works on the Dive.

That is one ridiculous pencil…😂

are you sure that's aluminum outer body? I got mine today, in green color and I thought it was all plastic.
@jfdjkdjfkjdkАй бұрын
it is indeed plastic, albeit a high quality polymer.....but indeed plastic

Beautiful pencil. But the price! I think Mitsubishi made a rotation lead pencil for about $7. The features though are quite nice.
@gregpark12789 ай бұрын
its not just rotation it has auto feed and feed amount adjustment mechanisms as well

Uni is a Mitsubishi brand. The cheapest _Kuru_ _Toga_ is made of plastic and only rotates the lead.

great

What an idiotic review. The adjustment is for the speed the lead advances, not the speed of rotation 😂
@GeneAuyeung7 ай бұрын
I wouldn't go as far as calling it idiotic, just not trustworthy (e.g. saying the cap is aluminum instead of plastic)

?? You didn’t understand him? That’s a normal pace. Maybe the settings on your video were changed to a faster speed. Click on the gear at the top right.
