I worked in a cell phone store at that time. The amount of fake iPhones I saw at that time was ridiculous. Mainly because there were genuinely a lot of people who believed they were the real thing.

Me too. It identifies it as half its actual size, but that's much more than I expected. I believed it would not even read it since it, like most modern cards, is XC type, and that was virtually nonexistent on the market in 2009 (it was released that same year but one can imagine most devices did not support it yet, let alone a piece of china junk like this).

Back in, I think, 2007 or 2008, I got what was called a iClone phone. It had a stylus that resembled this one and I was able to put dual SIMs in it if I wanted to. I was actually able to get online and such with it. No App Store support but at that time, that wasn't a big deal. After I did get a different phone I actually still used it as a MP3 player lol.

I remember my first ever phone in like 2009 also had profiles, the "meeting" profile was just a fancy silent mode which would still turn on the screen for notifications but wouldn't vibrate or sound and so on, I also remember there resistive touch screen were just keypad phones with a terrible touch screen running Java based OS's

I found out dual sims are big in a lot of countries. My birth country for example its like a downgrade to a lot of people if it doesn't have dual sim. Dual sim is far more important to a lot of people there than speed for example especially nowadays where the speed is acceptable to most people on most phones

I've seen lots of these fakes back in the day. Almost all of them had different features, from stylus to retractable TV antenna, but one thing all of them had in common - every single one of them was incredibly bad. Like - absolutely terrible. Unresponsive touchscreens, badly made java UI, phone signal reception that was so bad, you had to walk around to find a signal, Horrendous speakers, lack of any bit of build quality - everything was there. Also - two sims, and a camera lottery, meaning that roughly 6 times out of 10 you had really bad camera (remember, kids, iphone cameras also were awful until iPhone 5S or so, but this was wholly another level of awful) and 4 out of 10 it wouldn't even work. Guess that's how it was back in the day. Nowadays you can get cheap good iphone that is still relevant, or get a good android phone for the same price.
