Salt is just hell on old cars. It never sleeps . Once you get it on the car It's hard to get it all off without taking everything apart.
@mickwrinkles23188 жыл бұрын
That is all true and I see it similarly, though not everybody wants to drive their million dollar baby in the winter and not every owner of an old, pristine and really valuable wants to deal with constant damage repair from salt. Even if someone had the money to do that I can understand owners that drive such valuables only in dry conditions. If I had a car that is worth millions I surely wouldn't drive it in snowy conditions. I would buy another car for that.

@Sly4Family - Give yourself time, I'll bet you will develop an interest in Vintage vehicles. I say that because I didn't have much use for "the old cars" until I aged and realized these cars have a beauty and history all of their own. The racers of today wouldn't be possible without cars like the D-Type Jaguar laying the groundwork for them. The Vintage cars (and drivers) were a different breed from a very different time. Unlike today, they weren't motivated by money, just the burning desire to compete and hopefully win. They were pure in the truest sense!
