As a very proud owner of a mobile home, I want to thank you for putting a positive face on mobile home living. One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is when people look down on mobile homes and the people who make them their home. Its as if we are in a class all our own, and its a low class. Yes, they arent as expensive as buying a stick built home, or at least they didn't used to be. The newer ones are beautiful, and are also very expensive. Its true that mobile homes are more achievable for people who dont have much money, and I am a classic example of that very scenario. I bought my mobile home in 2011 for $10k. Its in a 55+ park, but at this stage in my life, I dont want to own land and im 100% happy here. But all of that aside, a home is not determined by the kind of building it is, but by the people living in it. People live in all different kinds of structures, and I get it that mobile homes used to attract people of a lower income bracket; but times have changed and there are plenty of people who choose mobile home living and are content. Hopefully, YT channels like yours will help people see mobile homes in a different light. Thank you, so much, for doing your part in dispelling the stigma that mobile homes are unfairly judged by. Your home is completely gorgeous!! ❤

I would love to see the clothesline addition!. I, too, would recover the insert before I bought a new set of beds. Also, you might think about fiing it by attaching some of your beadboard to the insert---or maybe some lattice or some kind of banister railings---oh, oh, oh!--what about some wrought iron inserts? You could paint over the stains on the headboards with fabric paint. Also, you can just buys some material you like, spray material glue and cover the headboards up. Quick fixes rule!

Paint the headboards with cloth paint. Actually, you can use regular acrylic paint. It will look so nice. Just make sure you use a spray bottle of water and keep the material damp during painting.

For some stains on the headboards they look like they are from people's heads were against the headboards and left from any oil from their heads I use baby powder for oily head stains on my fabric recliner chairs I Pat the baby powder on the stains and leave it on overnight then I vacuum it off the stains, the baby powder absorbs the oil from the fabric. If needed for heavier stain repeat the same application of baby powder and leave it on for another overnight.

Hey, if those are oil stains, the only way that you can remove oil from fabric is to put cooking flour on the stain and let it sit to soak up the oil. I do not know if it will work now since you used orher products. You can reupholster the headboard. It is not hard to do.

It will be nice My my opinion I do not like comforters that are so big and bulky I used to do comforters, but I couldn’t stand them when you wash them and you know they get all lopsided so now I just do quilts you can get shams and all that with quilts and quilts. Come now a modern look country look all kinds of looks that you’re looking for. They have it in a quilt. They’re a little thinner. I also do flannel sheets in the winter and it’s really cold. I’ll switch it to flannel sheets and a quilt but I don’t do comforters no more used to but not no more.

Don't get rid of those lovely beds, if you are willing,and with your husband's help, you can get some fabric of your choice, tact it on and use a border to hide the nails, with both of your excellent skills, i know it can be done, and will turn out beautiful 🎉😊.

You don't have to buy new beds. You can just reupholster the headboards. I have died headboards in the past to cover the stains. Joanne fabrics sell fabric paint in a spray. Can. I wouldn't get rid of the dresser either. It can also be fixed with Bondo and paint.

Try the Awesome you can but it dollar tree,dollar general and home depot might sell it , it come in a clear bottle it remove oil, blood etc.I told my guy about it use on old dried in old and say it work great and using every since. It work better than hot shot spray on spot leave on than wash out.

So 25 years ago I was going to the same thing about a bed I could never find a bed that was gonna last me long-term. I spent 5K on the bed that probably last me like 10 years and when it broke, I knew the company where I bought it or the manufacture, but they didn’t sell replacement parts to it so we end up at the time Husband was very well and was like your husband very crafty. My husband built us a bed with bolts, lag, bolts, bolts, real wood, 4 x 4 legs and then build it to size of our mattress boxspring and then I took it outside. Will he build it outside? I took it, and I stained it like a dark walnut And until this day we have that bed we’ve already replaced our mattresses once, but we’ve never will need another bed again. It had a headboard and a footboard and we’re good like I said never again he built that bed so good and now we ain’t tiny people either so it’s a really strong bed And he built my sons bed, which is a twin size bed and build it higher up so he can store all his shoes in the boxes under the bed , at that time he’s already grown don’t live here anymore, but we still have his bed which my father-in-law sleeps on you building your own bed is the best thing You can build to have measure the mattresses and build it to that precise size you can paint it. You can stain it you can do everything you want with that bed
