They're great, exept in the summer. Better be happy with being a couch potato because you aint' doing much outdoors. At least if you're in the desert around Southern Arizona. Higher elevations might be a bit better.

I have 1983 w126 500sel euro spec Id had mine for years its a grey market one I keep havin a issue with mine starts right up but as soon as it warms up it acts up an dies but as soon as ur restart it it runs okay for a couple mins an dies again havent been able to pin point the problem yet ive owned it for 5 years now still havent been able to drive it for more than a couple blocks

@@VITOSGARAGE Ive done all the basic tune ups has copper bosch plugs new wires new distubator cap as well as ignition rotor fuel pump fuel filter Ive cleaned out all the fuel system prior to replacing everything also has a new coil it will fire right up dosent take but a second an she fires up with no issues but once the engine gets to operating temp it will stumble an die but will fire right back if u restart it but will take a few mins an it dies an sputters again the fan clutch is good it doesnt over heat I had a few vacuum issues but I sloved them an she still continues to act up car is beautiful very low miles I can post pictures of it on ur facebook page I'm pretty mechanically inclined when it comes to these mercedes but this just drives me nuts I cant figure it out an Ive invested in so many parts an time I just keep buying more an pushing it back until I find something else to check an trouble shoot

@@josellamas5609 Share some videos with me on facebook and the symptoms it has. We will try to figure it out together. I think you also have to check your fuel pressures first. You need to order a KE Jetronic fuel pressure gauge. I think yours has a warm up regulator too, instead of later EHA valve

I've got one in my mother's garage right now, it's in much much worse shape!! Looks like it's been getting pissed on by NYC homeless dudes for the past 27 years straight. She wants it GONE!! Btw it's a 1981 300SD, I'll give a great price, contact me, located Summit NJ.
