I ment to mention here however long ago but I went and bought this van and drove it back to Portland. It's been my daily driver for a little while now and I love the thing. I did need to have the radiator replaced and the 3 hour drive home after the thing sitting for so long has oil coming out the rear main but these are thing you need to expect for a low milage vehicle that's as old as this. I plan to keep the interior how it is and do a 2" lift and throw some more aggressive tires on it. Thank you for reviewing the van it gave me more confidence in taking the leap.

There's so many interesting Japanese cars from the 90s and the Townace especially as a 4WD has to be one of the coolest. I used to drive a regular 94 Townace through New Zealand and I saw quite a few of them there. Just like in Japan they drive on the left in New Zealand so Japanese cars are popular imports, which was cool because I got introduced to so many cars that I have never seen in Europe. Anyway great video, keep it up!

My grandpa had one of these back in the day; albeit it was the base model. Where do you film your videos ? The setting and scenery is so beautiful

Ah so cool that you can associate this with your grandpa. Great vans. This is just a quiet street that I found to go to film. Nothing too crazy. But regardless, appreciate the kind words.

Kinda reminds me of the Toyota previa but very different, nice video
@bendaga3 жыл бұрын
I’m sure there are some similarities between the previa and townace. Thanks!

Bendaga, is this the smallest van that could ride 8 people? Seems to be just slightly longer than a kei van, which is astonishing. Looks like it could be a fun off-road van too.
@bendaga2 жыл бұрын
Good question. For 8 people a hiace or nissan homy may be good options to look into if you want something in the realm of a jdm van.
@01Beep2 жыл бұрын
@@bendaga But if my garage is just around 190 inches, and I still want to have a small van that can potentially carry 8 people, is the TownAce/LiteAce the only option?
