These prices are totally ridiculous from the economic perspective. But keep in mind that these cars are not made to be rationally purchased by a regular man. Rather, they are built to be emotionally purchased by a rich guy to whom $10,000 is like $10 for you and me.

That orange interior will keep you awake and alert at long journeys! I would never pay 7000 for a wheel upgrade and rather have the nice standard wheels and go all out on an extra set of Vossen or HRE and have something more bespoke and special!

Mercedes-Benz used to have a special paintjob for the Maybach S580, S680 and GLS600 that used to come in at about $35,000 but even that's small change compared to the Rezvani Arsenal with an optional supercharged 6.2l V8 making 80hp and going for $125, or the Hercules that used to have a $250k option for an in-house built supercharged 7.0l V8 making 1300hp. What a time to be alive...

These things are going to depreciate into the ground just like all the rest of the Astons. There are so many second hand Astons that no one wants and poor brand reconition. In two or so years this will be half the price maybe even under $100K.

For the $100,000 “just in options” I would buy Tesla Model 3 performance (when I want to accelerate really really fast), and a Honda CRV touring when I need the utility of an SUV.
