Weird. The 3700X actually came with the Wraith Prism cooler, looks like you got shorted.

No I took the prism cooler off when I was troubleshooting the fan issue, I had swapped it for the stock cooler for testing as it’s much easier to get on and off

I just built an all black PC to flip. I decided though at the end to replace the ID Cooling CPU cooler with fans that have a very thin RGB ring on to match the RGB strip on the front of the case (a Gigabyte C200 case).

interesting to view this from your point of view... as a "pc flipper", tidy it up and make it look good.... to sell with a profit to those who can not or will not build from scratch to tailored needs, looks before functionality.... for me it is a box that could be a cardboard box from some boots standing in a corner, important is stable functionality, low power consumption and noise and fulfill needs = compromise between the limit of the budget and available hardware,good enough cpu, responsible system with fastest affordable system drive and gpu to match its goals - and some additional storage if you do not utilise your own nas /no trust in the cloud/, if there will be bottlenecks than identify them and fix them with faster cpu, more ram, more/faster storage or finaly cpu and mobo, all covered by a stable powerful powersupply that is not overpowered but has room for later upgrades and has a nice utility curve on the way/maybe semi passive mode/.... as a techguy that worked in customer support I just hate from the deepest corner of my heard salespersonnel that pushes looks and blinks before practicality to make bucks

That 3700x came with the Wrath Prism cooler. That stock cooler looked like it was from a 5600x.

Great video. I was expecting you to pair the PC with something like a 6700XT. Do you find PCs with Nvidia GPUs tend to sell better or was it just a case of finding a great deal on the 3070ti ?

It was just the right deal at the right time. I actually also found a deal on a 6700 non xt that I thought about putting in there but decided against it. And yes Nvidia pc’s tend to sell a little better as Nvidia is a more popular brand.

I’ve been loving the series man❤! But I have a question I’m trying to start flipping pcs but whenever you test them and download the games do you factory reset the pc so there isn’t anything on the he’d or ssd? Or what do you do before you sell it to the customer?

I only install windows on the pc. I don’t install anything else. I have a sata SSD that houses all of my games and benchmark software that I use for testing and when I am finished I remove the SSD. It keeps me from having to download them over and over

great build but i think you need to change on of the ram sticks . all of them were 3000mhz except one that was 2400mhz so no xmp and we all know ryzen loves fast memory !

🤔 thats strange about the fan control in the bios, i have 2 msi intel boards and yes it has both options: PWM and DC and you can also select Smart Fan Curve Mode and it has these DOTs that u can move around to set the curve, i just tested it and on my boards all it does is change the Fan RPM Speed, I tried both options and one spins faster than the other. But neither option turns the fans completely off. So u got something sketchy and shady going on there. Update the bios, then clearing the cmos, change the pill battery, set everything to defaults, and check it again, also try all the fan headers around the board and see if they are all acting up like that? also maybe its the type of fan and maybe some fans dont like low volts? try different fan brands? does it matter if its 3pin or 4pin fan? if u cant fix it then tell the new owner about the problem and the workaround on how to fix it if it happens in the future to him cause it should be turning no matter what the setting is. And as for the cpu its kinda close to an i7-8700K so tell the new owner down the line if he has an itch to upgrade that chip to a Ryzen 7 5000 series. Don't forget to update the bios for him rite now so he won't have to worry about posting the new chip. And since Ryzen 2000 chips and up support Windows 11 u should be clean installing 11 for the new owners already rite now as well. That way they don't have to worry about breaking the OS next year when 10 expires because most normies won't clean install 11 and when they try to upgrade 11 from 10 they risk breaking the OS. Those are my thoughts for u. Have a Holy Friday and a Holy Easter and God Speed 😇🙏

Now that is a good looking build, love love black cases! I think RGB is over done way too much these days. To me it all looks so dated. Agree with keeping the mobo RGB on. You can go the other way and not have enough RGB. Question, why didnt you take off the fan stickers on the bottom THREE fans? Just curious.

The only reason I removed the stickers from the Musetex fans that came with the system was because they were like holographic….extremely noticeable and the three fans at the bottom were black with white lettering and that matched the gpu’s black with white lettering so I thought it matched well and removing the stickers was not needed. I think it would have looked good either way. But who knows lol. The new owner of that pc seemed pretty happy about the purchase so that’s really what matters anyhow lol
