Loved the video! As an aside, I would like to see more MD-PhD content. The MD-PhD route isn’t as common as the MD route, and so there are fewer resources to draw from when making application decisions. Preparing the MD-PhD essays for this cycles has been very tough and I’d love to see you go through some of those materials both from successful and unsuccessful applicants. Does this sound like something you might be likely to do?

in my opinion, it was a combination of mcat and narrative. the low science mcat is a red flag. a 4.0 in science and then 60th percentile in science doesn't line up.

Hey! So you mentioned that the personal statement is not a timeline of your life. Would formatting my personal statement with the many basketball related injuries I’ve had over the course of my life and the orthopedic surgeons I’ve talked to be an acceptable way of writing my PS? Or should I go with patient interactions?

The purpose of the PS is to show why you want to be a doctor so anything relating to that, talk about it. This applicant had an entire paragraph about his move from Utah to Thai land, and it had nothing to do with him wanting to be a doctor.
