This is so pretty, and the price is heading up. I'm seeing these for $600 - $700. Who cares if you're not dressed in a tux or a suit. I would just wear this with a black button up shirt, and it will shine beautifully. I have so many dress watches and wear them whenever I feel like it. We're men and we deserve to buy ourselves something pretty too.

i love this brown version and the green version the most. however i already own the green dial mockingbird version but it looks mostly dark green or black mostly indoors and the sunray cocktail pattern not very discernable .... maybe this brown version is more discernable indoors.

That is a truly stunning watch and I would love one in this colour but I just don't see me owning enough outfits that I could wear it with or enough formal wear that would make getting it worthwhile so the other colours make more sense even though this one looks the most beautiful IMO.

Wearing it casually 2 times a week? It would take years for the PVD coating to show any wear or corrosion. And at that point, it would be natural patina frankly and I would love every second of it because it means you put some fond memories on it.

Nice watch. Expensive though. As most Seikos are. Not even sapphire crystal. Stopped me from buying this watch. Other brands you'd get sapphire crystal for same price or less

Domed sapphire is much more expensive than flat sapphire - it's not an easy process. Even a brand like Rolex doesn't dome their sapphire. For this watch and price point, hardlex crystal is definitely more than acceptable. You forgot that at this price point you are getting a watch from a completely vertically integrated company, aka "in-house". That's pretty remarkable.
