I had an electric bike that was modified to go 70mph, but I pushed it to 87mph once according to its top speed recording. Staying Alive is definitely an appropriate song for a SCOOTER that goes 45mph

It’s actually extremely stable. I even took it up to 60MPH going downhill. No speed wobbles, and the suspension ok this holds the road with such ease. Definitely scary though.

This scooter really is the greatest, and among the greatest mechanical and electrical engineering masterpieces of an electric scooter! i received my segway gt2 megatron edition last week. everything good that is stated on the internet about these scooters is true! its a rocket ship with boost, and walk modes :) and among the most stable and easy to ride scooters i have ridden. without any modifications, this scooter ships both ready to race, and ready for commuting. Speed on a scooter is so much scarier than driving at the same speed. The limit of 15.5mph is somewhat exhilarating already. Well the exhilaration is from the acceleration. Now 40+ miles per hour must feel like you could die at any given moment.

To all the people calling these death traps , maybe you should ride one. I agree they are not as stable as motorcycles given the larger wheels and lower center of gravity. As with abything, it is about managing risk. Watch out for pottholes and cars and dont ride too fast where you should not. There are plenty of people that dont crash because they are trained and experienced. People also fail to realize the importance proper safety gear.
