This $50 DIY Fix Made My Acura TL-S Look New Again!

Cleaning up the headlights actually made a bigger difference than I thought--these cars have such timeless styling that they almost look newer than they are if you keep em clean!
I know I promised some WOT rips in this video but my tuner was on vacation and I ran into some bad luck sending datalogs with a bad O2 sensor before he left--now that he's back we should have the next revision in a few days--expect a video coming later this week!

I did mine 320 grit 400 grit 600 grit 800 grit 1200 grit 1500 grit And my friend cleared them for me at the paint shop . The difference it makes is awesome. Looks good 🤙

I honestly wasn’t convinced they would clear up just from a quick wet sand but they look 10x better and the clear is holding up well so far! Just picked up some new pure white bulbs(current ones are kinda blue) from Diode Dynamics so hopefully they look even better at night🤞

these headlights be a pain fr from haze to spider web cracking. did the same ahc recommendation for 2k but i didn’t like the orange peel look either. ended up just re sanding and polishing

Yeah the orange peel was pretty bad before I did the wet sanding/polishing a day or so later, definitely needed it!

The clips on the side are Amazon quick release fasteners Link: a.co/d/imQIJwG But the rubber bands that come with them literally melt after a while so I just use zip-ties!😅 the only thing holding it up other than that is a few OEM clips near the rad/intercooler, which I suggest ordering more of since they’re old and tend to break

LOL my bad bro I should’ve specified-the car has been suuuper reliable, I meant that the paint is tough to maintain/keep super clean just because it’s black and shows every bit of dirt, but I literally obsess over paint so most people wouldn’t care, apologies for the confusion🙏
