Hey nick, i have a 2006 tl base model, how would it hold up if i supercharged it? Has an auto trans, and i would need it as a daily still. I wanna drive this car till the wheels fall off. What do you recommend doing to it so its still reliable. Its my first car, so i wanna keep it fun.

The best part of centrifugal supercharger setups is they make all the nice turbo noises up front but they still make NA exhaust noises in the back.

Hey bro I think I just responded to you on another video but I’ll post it here as well just in case-It’s been perfect so far! I drive it really hard almost every time I take it out and it hasn’t skipped a beat! I know guys running 500+whp with the stock auto trans without issue, and I’m definitely gonna test the limits this summer. I’d highly recommend it, plus you can always swap to a 6mt trans down the line, which I also plan to do

Hey bro it’s a Pioneer DMH-1500NEX! It has Apple CarPlay(has to be plugged in but I don’t mind+it charges my phone), I’m not sure who installed it to be honest, it was done by the previous owner-I’ll check with him and see if he remembers

Hey man I used 2.2 Ohm Resistors, 1/4 W, 5%, but they didn’t get rid of the dash light unfortunately-I may try a higher resistance in the spring and see if that works!

Questions: did you do any tuning to the transmission to get it to shift like that? Do you like the c63 better or the supercharged TL?

The car actually wasn’t even tuned in this video, the trans actually just shifts pretty quick even stock! It’s quite a bit quicker/more aggressive now with the tune. Regarding which one I like better, it’s really tough to call and depends on the day-the C63 is very brutal in the way it delivers the power, but the TL feels like it keeps getting faster and faster toward redline due to it being a centrifugal supercharger! I love them both, a lot😂

In this video I believe it was gutted RV6 high flow pre-cats, secondary cat delete, and a resonated XLR8 exhaust with the rear mufflers deleted!

No problem, you got it. I’m going to just keep my j35a8 with the Comptech supercharger and go manual. Everything has been ordered to start it next week. I am ready to get something newer to add to my collection. I’ll wait a year or so but I have my eye on a 2018 bmw m3. It’s talking to me, so I don’t want to spend a lot on my different projects.

Only reason I don’t mod my regular 3G TL is because the gearing is trash on autos… only the first 3 gears are usable then the car falls flat on its face at 4th gear because it’s so tall. 5th gear? Forget it.

Literally my least favorite thing about my A7 lol. It sounds decent but I can’t chuck revs in the damn thing! I think a chip & tune is the cheapest/easiest/quickest way to bypass that but I haven’t tried yet
