You're the best! I bought my first bike based on one of your reviews. I also have this bike. Strange quirk, if you turn off the power, then power it back up, the charge % jumps up significantly. Lithium chemistry is weird. I've gotten 60 miles out of this bike with a combination of peddling and power in the hills of San Diego. 120 miles? Only if you find 120 mile downhill ride. 😂 Thanks for all your efforts bringing us these reviews.

battery percentage is based off average voltage of battery. Since the percentage is using data while riding, the sag makes it slightly inaccurate. After turning off the bike for a while, it takes a more accurate reading on the battery level without any sag. Even the best ebike in the world cannot fix this

@@mikec4308 I have a firm belief that if you are going to add lights to a bike to meet a state requirement. It should be adequate to actually be useful. I've seen some bikes have lights worse than a 5 dollar 8 led headlamp from dollar general that uses 2 AAA batteries.

I got an Ocelot Pro last year and am very happy with it except the seat post likes to sink down even though I have it as tight as I can get it. I am jealous about the torque sensor now, maybe someday they will make an upgrade kit for the older models. I'm an older guy retired and didn't want to end a ride just because my legs got tired so I went with the cadence but being able to go back and forth is golden.

I really like the cadence/torque sensor combo!! Btw, the e cell torque sensor is a total fail and ironically, after bashing Wired for months it turns out the five star frame is prone to rear loaded death wobble and the rear battery dual star bikes are going to be much worse. They are not testing anything before putting on the market and the owner is certifiable and a crook and ex convict. You should test out a dual star with a gates drive and a torque sensor. It also looks like e cells only bike tech, Gator, just bit Cleveland in the face and now they have no one who can even change a flat.

I have messaged them before on there gearing . It’s the worst gearing you can have for a pedal assist e-bike . And they set this new e-bike the same way again . Ghost pedaling is annoying . The freewheel has to go down to 11 tooth . The crank needs around 56 tooth . This e-bike freewheel goes down to a high 14 tooth with the crank at 48 tooth . Not sure why they keep sticking with terrible gearing . The new Juiced Jetcurrent Pro gets it right with 11 tooth freewheel and a large 60 tooth crank , allowing you to pedal above 30mph .

With your skill on the mountain bike video I thought you were a cyclist. As a cyclist on the road you should communicate what you're doing. Straight arm out left for left turns, out right for right turns. And left arm hand down is to indicate stopping or slowing. It's always good to be seen, be predictable and communicate road intentions. Of course when you start reviewing German bikes or motors. It's against the German code of driving to indicate turns. Witnesses amy Audis, BMWs etc. ;-)

nah all that arm signaling is overrated af and really doesnt alert anyone. 99% of car drivers dont even know what the arm signals mean nor do they care or pay attention
