Good Luck Brotha. Im Rooting for ya! What you have just stated is impossible for most let's see if you can Beat Impossible 💓 it can be done proritize the things you need to roll out of that garage in 30 days and go around the block and do a sweet burnout save the rest for the next 30 days to make it street legal and fix Stuff like blinkers and windows that roll up and down and door locks can kill the entire day each. They can be done after all the rest is done if time permits. *Don't get hung up on windows that roll up and down and doors that are perfectly aligned before you know it your out if time and you havent done a thing. YOU CAN DO THIS but fly like a NINJA and FOCUS on Big Wins save the little shit for later or even after No Name! Blinkers That work? Sounds like a Fun little project with the kids after No Name of you get what I'm sayin 😀 Stuff like that....Hope this Helps! 🤘

Great video! Wish I was going to make it this year to the NNN. I would race you with the '1969 Coronet 500, 360 RV engine, 14" Magnum 500's driven from Denver, CO. I think it would be fun seeing two daily driver projects that were driven to Sikeston race. That was my plan when I entered the NNN, but Gloria, my wife has been battling interstitial lung disease for a few years, and has taken a turn for the worse. She just came home from the hospital yesterday for home hospice care. She was looking forward to going to the No Name nationals, but God has other plans. Thanks for the videos, and hope to make it next year.

Hello Zero G, wow, very sorry to hear about your struggle. I wish the best for you and your wife Gloria during this hard time. Thank you for the comment. A 360 driver car race would be great for next year. We will make it happen!

Hi Married Man, thanks for following the channel, I really appreciate the support!! That would be awesome, it is hard to find wrenching buddies. If there is anything I can do to help let me know. I am still learning, but happy to answer questions as best as I can. Best way to message me is probably through the Dust or Bust facebook page. I just saw you have a channel, sweet Gold Duster! Looking forward to seeing it come together. 👍

@@DustorBust thanks! It’s it’s a 75(?) block, so it’s a lower compression motor. It is bored 30 over with forged TRW pistons that are balanced though, so that should help. I just want to make the car streetable and play with it here and there. 👍

Very ambitious in 30 days! Keep in mind the proper engine break in for the first 500 miles.
@DustorBust2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, good thought on break-in. I have heard multiple strategies for breaking. Some people say just drive it how you plan on driving, others say X amount of time/miles at X rpm. Any recommendations? I definitely will research more on it, I want it to be setup for long term success. 👍

Hi Jeff, thanks for asking and following! Unfortunately lots of life changes the last year and a half. Moving plus other stuff. Duster is running pretty good. She is registered, and I do drive to the grocery store, but not quite finished. Life is getting back to a stable point and weather is improving so I will try to get back at it soon. Thanks again for asking, take care!

You have made great progress in 2 years. The next 30 days are going to be hectic. I am with you all the way, albeit from my couch "318 will run" on YT has a duster. He likes to race & is a DIY guy for sure.

Haha, I am very happy to have you attend from couch👍. Thanks, yes we always wish we could do more, but it has been a long road already. Thank you for following along, I know you have been with me since early in, really appreciate it!! Yes, 318WR is great. Good dude, definitely fits the DIY'er description. I am pretty sure he is just taking his Van to the race, but I will look. Could be a good race for next year. Duster vs. Duster. 😁
