One way to clean stuffed animals is to put them in a bag with oatmeal (dry of course) and brush it out. Also you can put them in the freezer to kill any bugs.❤

Citizen Eco Drive watches are excellent - the battery is charged by light. My Citizen watch is 14 years old. No battery needed ever. Set them to the correct time and let them sit in bright sun light to get them full charged. Excellent find plus all the other goodies. We say “FRA GI LE” too - love A Christmas Story!

I have a tip for you for dealing with the smell. Put a little Vicks just under your nose. I used to be a volunteer emt and we kept it in the ambulance for stinky situations 😁 oh and I will take the baby dolls 😊

It's been so fun unpacking this storage unit with y'all! The cedar chest was probably made from a kit. I have one my dad made for me in the 80's. The barrel can be used as a rain water collection barrel, just feed a downspout into it. Rain water is great for plants!

I'm with you on the weird dolls. Some of them really creep me out as well. Whenever I saw that barrel I thought about a crime show. They're always finding bodies in barrels in storage buildings on those shows like NCIS and CSI. lol I enjoy watching what you guys find in the storage units. Hopefully you'll continue to do more of them. Looks like you made out good on this one. Sorry you had to deal with the rat issue. But, at least they didn't destroy everything. Rodents can do so much damage. Those probably got into some deecon and Killed over from that before they had a chance to damage everything in there. That cedar chest may be an old one that someone made. My daddy made one in high school along with a nightstand that I have.. He just passed away a few years ago at 83. He made the furniture in shop class in school. It was a thing back then to learn a trade such as carpentry while in high school.

I have the same Cedar Chest. Large and plain. It was my grandmothers, b1917. Still looks great! 14KGD could be gold dipped maybe? Always pack some VICKS, mentholatum. If you don't want to smell 'dead rat' just put some under your nose. (I've watched the hoarder house cleanout crews using it.) Love watching y'all!

21:45 The "Dragon Necklace" I bought one at the San Diego County Fair, in the 2010s and then saw they were selling at Universal Studios in the Jurassic Park gift shop. I paid about $25 for mine but at Universal studios it was just over $50. The metal is supposed to be something that you can specifically swim without it discoloring, ocean, pools or even hot springs. That was according to the sales person at the fair, but I did wear mine swimming many times, ocean and pools. I don't remember if I wore it into the hot springs in Alaska, they told us to take off all jewelry because it would turn black and with gold and silver it bonds with the metal and you can't just polish the black off. I don't recall if I risked it or not.

So for me to keep Proteins Rats Mice creepy things away I use bounce dryer sheets the smelly once. I worked in my house Trayler Storage unit car (so there don't the wires anymore and it works . I hope it will work for you . Smalls good to.
