Active listening is what is needed in this society, it is not a game, it is not an acting technique, it is fundamental to honest communication.

I learned that in my acting studio as well. Not only an essential skill for the trade, but in overall life too.

This is mind boggling. Just by simply listening he got one of the craziest opportunities at a Job interview ever. Goes to show, in a society where everyone is so focused on themselves, by simply listening you can put yourself in the 1%.

This is the BEST advice I've heard probably ever. Film Courage is quickly becoming my favorite channel.

This is actually a counselling technique, if you allow the opposite individual to just talk and you listen, they think in their mind that you are giving them the world. It doesn't always work.

I don't regret but I got cut off a content creator job position with a tech company that was ruining my life in a way, I was no longer wiring my own stories or creating my own videos. I was just focused on doing work for them that I was not happy with, when I got cut off my happiness levels went up again and it felt like a new fresh beginning to focus on my goals

After this wonderful interview and Dar’s wise words I wonder how many jobs and opportunities in my life were given to me because funny enough I do have these listening skills. And I’ll only do it because of sincere interest. Funny…and kinda mind blowing at the same time 😮

Women don't get offered $85,000 a year - because you're a guy

very true. but women also get their paychecks, and all of their husbands paychecks when those divorce papers hit.

Because women are bad at negotiating and don't try to get rich they try to look pretty because that's what attracts men. Men put 10x more effort to try to get rich because women are attracted to rich men.
