This Addon Will Double Your Leveling Speed in Fresh Classic!

So first off, I have nothing against the concept of this addon, and I used it to get to 60 this go around to give it a fair shake. I have never received a dollar from the company to promote it, this is a completely independent review. With that being said, I think people really need to know what they are getting before they purchase this product. Yes, this addon has the POTENTIAL to help you level faster, but in practice it really hasn't increased my overall leveling speed tremendously because of the amount of people RUNNING THE SAME EXACT ROUTE. There are tons of people who have purchased, or otherwise gotten this addon who are also currently using it, you travel in the exact same path as they do, and they have all the same neat little targeting tricks you do, its still an absolute fight over mob tags depending on the time of day and area you are in. The addon doesn't really have any way to reroute the quests to take into account player density and mob tags, and because of the way it works with your quest log, you rarely have empty quest log space to just go do other quests for awhile. Secondly, this addon is made to level fast, and does not take player convenience into account. If you have gathering professions, you will be constantly out of bag space because of the way this addon has you collect quest items for multiple levels and then turn them in. Either that or you will just have very low profession skill by the time you hit 60. It took me roughly 6 days /played to hit 60 this time using the addon, where when I dungeon spammed in 2019 it took me roughly 5 days, and my 2004 times were usually around 7 days with a mix of questie/dungeons. These are not speedrunner times by any stretch, and I generally consider myself in the (Semi-Harcore) sort of crowd. TL;DR the addon is good, but it has drawbacks that I think people should be aware of before they purchase it.

I use RXP to help me pick the optimal quests and show me where to get them. As someone who is a dad of 2 kids under 10 and works 40+ hours a week, I don't have the option to play hardcore and I hate grinding random mobs for levels so RXP helps me to stay on track and not waste time doing quests that are suboptimal for XP. I still take time out during every session to craft/gather, play the AH, and explore, but when I need to get back on task RXP takes me right where I need to be. The biggest issue with the addon is that it does suggest that you get items well before they are needed for quests, but once you figure this out you learn to hit a major city every chance you get and deposit crafting supplies you don't need in your bank or put them on the AH. Outside of this one issue, I love this addon, and it saves me a ton of time.

i started with a hunter and took it really chill. did professions along the way, went fishing on my warrior. i tried rested xp it’s really good for what it does. now I log in either to my warrior or hunter depending on my mood of the day 🎉

I bought RXP and enjoyed how it made leveling easier and faster. However, I have moved on from it since I've encountered too many bugs, bad routing or inefficient routing. I find it pushing the "speed run" meta a little too hard. I've moved on to Joana's leveling guide, totally different routing but it's more about making the leveling smoother imo. It is more expensive though, but I like it more, just my 2 cents.

I think so many are against it because it goes against what classic is about, it's more suited to a retail style mindset than classic era, imagine every player had it, everyone doing the same route, at what point are you even playing wow if every part of the game you are told step by step what you are doing

I get there was a ton of work put into this addon and i don't doubt it's high quality, but 25 bucks for a leveling guide sure is a hefty price.. atleast for me. Specially considering you need to buy the addon separately for each faction (or pay 35 bucks for both). Again i don't doubt it's a very useful and high quality addon but it's hard to take seriously when it's the price of almost 2 months of wow subscription.

I don't use RXP, it's not that i am against the addons, not at all, more power to those who use it. But i know myself and my OCD, if i see an arrow on screen, i will mindlessly follow it. And this time around, this is not how i want to level in wow. I do use Questie, but without the arrow. I like to open the map, plan my route even if it's not optimal, look for mob to kill or loot manually. In a word, i am getting reacquainted with the world. I also use AI voice addon for immersion.

Those who have leveled to 60 over 20 times and don't feel like taking their time to experience the journey again. Personally, I'd like to level quickly so I can get multiple 60s in preparation of tbc. Also, MC is about to come out AND if you want to make lots of gold via max professions, now is the time.

I own most of the guides. Zygor is really the most polished with both a talent advisor and gear advisor. Also Zygors travel system is unlike anything. Say you are in Undercity and open a guide with a Crossroads quest. It will correct guide you to the zeppelin and then take a flight from Orgrimmar to Crossroads. Joanas guide also get too little love. It is really good! Especially for classic era and fresh servers. Just forget about Dugi guide. It is full of bugs.

zygor is better it auto equip your upgrades and restedxp is not and i have experciend both and i can say zygor is better and they have guides not only for leveling but also for leveling Profession's and farming mount's pet's like almost everything specific quest guides achievement etc ...

Bruh just mob grind in a relevant lvl zone, as long as exp per hour is half or more of the total needed for lvl up then you're good, plus you have good chance of getting greens and stuff to auction house.
