This was me playing around creating stories and thought I would make a video about it, this is not something that I have published but with one change of the name, it would then make it more unique and I sure will :)

Thought so, it was an example ;) But when publishing AI written books, I understood one cannot copyright it?

correct, you can't copyright anything created by AI as of now, but there is a grey area with adding a human touch to whatever it is you're creating.

you could technically copyright a story with AI if you used it as a base or starting point to create your story, then add your own human touch and creativity to the story, then hire an illustrator for illustrating the book :)

Actually YOU CAN Copyright the ORGANIZATION of the story.. as well as your script.. so while the images can't be copywrited..the book and its assembly can because YOU DID that and the AI didn't.. that is the part no one is speaking about. The Gal who had the lawsuit DID get copyright over how her comic was put together because SHE did that part. So I am NOT a lawyer.. but that is why it is valuable for YOU to be part of the process. In all honesty.. YOU needing to battle in court over copyright is small. Your Title is YOURS.. Your PenName is YOURS.. the Story , if you tweak it is YOURS.. your assembly of the book is YOURS.. so YOU can copyright those parts of your process if you are so inclined to worry about it. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water .. laws change and are changing as more AI comes on the scene.
