He's using a 'silent' aimbot. Way it works is you'll have a 'fov circle' and if a valid target is within that circle your shots would go to said target instead of your crosshair. Interesting to see this is how it looks like from the server's perspective. Personally i do not recommend using silent aim for projectile, someone with semi auto hitscan like ashe would be better for these kind of hacks. You can actually see the silent aim work on widow, on the cheaters pov their crosshair never moved, but the server sees how he flicked super fast and returns the crosshair to the previous position. Thats how silent aim works instead of hard tracking like a 'normal aimbot' does Source: i too also used cheats, havent try on overwatch tho

Regarding that reaper, I've noticed a lot of high level players (at least diamond) have their sensitivity way too high to the point that they struggle to do anything at close range. It's like they think it's some kind of show of skill to have less control if it means they can do extremely fast flicks that miss every time. A lot of people would improve their performance by just lowering sensitivity to a point where the movements necessary to track aren't so impossible minute.

Hanzo's arrows are missing because the Tracers is changing direction rapidly. The motion prediction algorithm relies on continous motion to lead target. Remember when someone made a "training" mod in the Workshop, with a Zen firing primary fire? He was trivial to dodge by just switching directions rapidly because it throws off target lead prediction. I'm not sure why someone would play Hanzo if they're cheating, since that's naturally less reliable.

I think the reason it looks like it hit is because the actual bullet hitbox comes from the center of the screen, but the visible model comes from the gun. so he‘s flicking so fast that the hitbox and model separate

No, there's actually a weird problem with the way aimbots determine where a character is in game. It's similar to the High Noon problem. Basically, the game will register a character being in a different place than it actually is in certain situations, and the aimbot is using that data to determine where to aim, which can cause it to miss.

Its a projectile aimbot... it predicts where they will go, so yes, it WILL miss. He's obviously shit talking when he is standing still... also he is using highground and cover, he knows when to disengage. His game sense isnt bad and he wasnt "standing still on high ground" he got shot at as was forced to disengage. He stood still in front of the reaper to switch to widow. At 11:33 you make it seem as though they did a bad play, they got dived by their tank, so i dont see how it would be their fault as there is not a single character besides supports that can get out of that situation. All in all, cheating is wrong but putting your fingers in your ears and pretending that all cheaters are bad is just false.

Thing is it's getting hard figuring out when someone is a cheater or just a smurf. Sometimes you get those no skin lvl 1 accounts popping off in quickplay/low elo games and they're just diamond/grandmaster alts bullying begginers. It's just as bad in my eyes but you can't really report them for it and it's hard to distinguish them from cheaters when the cheats get more and more subtle (Obviously the guy in the video didn't have subtle cheats at all lmao)

What exactly do you expect blizzard to do here? The cheating tools are updated daily by groups of cheat developers who's entire job is to just make a cheat program. They also have the advantage of false positives on their side, the developers of the game have to ensure whatever anti-cheat techniques used don't flag non-cheaters and get innocent people banned. The cheat developers know this, they also KNOW how to develop anti cheat techniques, they know what the game is going to be looking for and how far they can push things without getting detected. Even in the event they do end up getting detected and the cheat user is banned it doesn't matter for free games, the user will just spoof all their identifiers and then create a fresh account to keep cheating with and thats for low tier cheats. The more expensive ones have custom clients that automate all of this for you and provide you with a 1 click account swap button, so even if one account gets banned who cares? They will see a you're banned message show up, click the unban me button and go to continue cheating. The root of the issue here is the game itself is free to play, there is no financial barrier to either the cheat developers or the cheaters themselves to simply bypass the ban, and as you can probably guess from what I have mentioned, the technical barrier of doing so is always going to be an ongoing war between anti-cheat developers and cheat developers. The difference is anti-cheat by its nature is reactive and thus has a delay before anything can be actioned upon, cheaters and cheat developers on the other hand are proactive in both developing new methods to bypass detection systems and in the actual application of said cheating software. You can't fix cheating, its basically impossible.

Overwatch will die because of the game trying to appear stable on the surface, but they Blizzard does not even know how to "competitive" correctly. Matchmaking broken, ranks broken (not because of "I deserve rank xyz", but when you are e.g a gold player but play against Diamond 2 players on a regular basis, that takes away the motivation of acutally reaching diamond rank. Because it feels like you are already there). The PvE lie is just the icing on the cake. When the game feels great, it's not because of the game, but because of what the players make of this piece of unfinished "e-sport ready" game :) I still play it myself but tbh only because I don't have the motivation to start all over again in another competitive game where I have to put in even more hours just to have a bit fun entertainment outside work and real life things.

For all the cheaters out there, I know you get a lot of satisfaction when you get to show off your kills. Trust me i wanted to cheat too at one point of overwatch 2 but the feeling of being able to witness our aim getting better everyday is the best thing I've ever experienced. I wanted to cheat with hanzo too because i loved hanzo but i could never aim right with him. 1 month with him now and i can aim atleast somewhat correctly. I'm not flats obviously but in my opinion... You need to either gut the entire game and rebuild it or go back to 6v6 and rebalance from there, both which the devs are unwilling to do. There's too much healing, too much damage, all problems that came directly from 6v6, as they never balanced the healing/damage from that state with the exception of one or two heroes. Tank feels bad because you're now one person doing the job of two people, including taking all the cooldowns and damage of two people. A slight buff in HP doesn't mean much overall, especially because all the armor health nerfs. CC either needs to be reduced in potency or removed entirely. I'd argue that the April Fool's game type was probably a step in the right direction as the game was fun and wacky rather then this sweaty wait to die/burn through cooldowns slog we have now.

@@GummyDinosaursify I think what ur saying about there being to much cc is very true but we just came out of a dive meta and the ow devs feel like the only counter to dive is cc. They went over board with nerfing dive and it ended up making tank feel very weak. At the start of ow2 the meta was nice and almost 1/2 the tanks were playable then support players complained and the seasons that followed were very much support buffs. Also the support passive makes it so that supports don’t have to use cool-downs on themselves and can use them aggressively. This includes baps heal ability (I’m having a mental break on the name) bio nade Lucio heal Moria orb I’m sure I’m forgetting a few. Been awhile since I played and it’s 3am for me in Australia. I’ll probs reply to any responses tomorrow

@@GummyDinosaursify also another thing I just realised was weren’t we promised constant changes to role passives. Has there been any major changes other then the dps in season 1. Just another thing the devs have failed to do
