Not even swearing, you can not play for like 60 days and leave 2 games to get instantly perma banned for another 50 days. Happened to me where I got horrid teammates in 1 game, had a very bad game in another. Come back and I'm perma banned the entire season. So imagine that now I'm having to sit out 2 seasons and only 50% of it is my fault lol.

I've said some toxic stuff but only once or twice and never even got a silence. If you're being banned it means you're toxic multiple times over a longer period.

I feel like all the experienced Blizzard developers left the company, so Blizz can't fire anyone anymore. If you know where the toilets are, you are literally unfireable. So the interns are just taking a piss by trolling streamers. They're probably on the banning team, so they can't be banned or fired. And even if they get fired, they weren't making money to begin with. No company can be so incompetent to not realize the problem and fixing it in hours. Maybe a day or two. There are players literraly crashing lobbies. WTF. There is literally noone left in this company, that knows the code of the game or the servers it's running on. Sometimes the big company is not the bad guy. Sometimes it's just pure sad incompetence.

the only thing i can really think of with that is the menu makers might've figured out the report coding and how to surpress it when OW dropped on steam. that is a thing that rockstar mod menus can do and then some. for example, the Fortitude mod for Red Dead not only will surpress the report, but aslo boot the player that reported from the session you are in.

Its technically not ddos, but a server overload through specific actions done by one client that crashes it. Flats had videos showing server crashes in regular matches when a ton of stuff is going on, and if you play custom games, that is rather common to see as well. But this isnt a distributed denial of service attack. The reason they named the account such is because every streamer names it "ddosing the servers" when server starts lagging and crashes.

I have been in games where we are absolutely rolling like a push of 90:0, then suddenly I’m playing on 300-400 ping and we get stomped and full pushed because I cant even see whats happening. I chalk it up to random server behaviour but in only one game? Then it’s fine again? I now treat any connection craziness on ddos antics especially when we’re winning which is usually when it happens (and well aware that these same things may happen to the enemy when we’re getting rolled then magically win)

I think one of the huge things couch warriors don't consider in OW (and why they're hard stuck silver/gold) is because they don't respect at all how VITAL positioning and corners are. The difference between gold and masters imo, is far more about positioning/corners than it is about aim. So looking for those misplays are far more telling of someone boosted or cheating/about to cheat. There's a reason more than half of Flat's cheater review videos are rage hackers in gold or lower, and the hacker usually loses. This ain't CoD or CS, aim alone does not win the game.

Alright just to clear things up, unless you have a number of things you cannot DDOS people. This kind of cheating is called Lag Switching. It essentially tricks the server with the press of a button to think that you were lagging and compensates for things like, hitting shots you shouldn’t have, not being affected by abilities that would’ve hit, and so on

i never experienced any DDOS attacks in my matches during all the years i've been playing overwatch but recently i experienced one and it was super weird. the server did not crash but it was obvious it was more than just a random latency spike that happens to me sometimes and quickly goes back to normal. the game was all weird and EVERYONE in the lobby was complaining. it started when we got more advantage over the enemy team and needless to say the attack lasted long enough for us to lose the match. this was MID GOLD btw these people have no shame

The reason why you usually watch the whole vod to spot cheaters/smurfs is because they obviously want to hide it if they aren't complete idiots. Even if they do get away with it as it is with liars eventually they'll get tired or cocky and mess up. Keeping up a charade is very tiring because it's something you have to actively think about. Comparing that to a regular player they will be consistently playing the same because they have no reason to hide anything. Flats has been consistently a high ranked player so of course he can spot sus gameplay. It's like how a Top chef can probably identify someone who knows how to cook vs who is pretentious. He would be better spotting one vs someone who just boils cup ramen.
