M77 + M90 are my favorite rifles. M90 is ironic because it weighs almost as much as the M77 fully kitted it's a THIC AK especially since it's in 5.56 but that thing recoils like a airsoft gun, no joke, it's a blast to shoot.

My father served in the YNA (Yugoslav national army). They had M76s (chambered in 8mm Mauser) instead for the marksman stuff. Never heard anything negative about them from the dudes that served on them. Also funnily enough when they didn't have marksmans around they would use the M72, our RPK model, as a "makeshift" marksman rifle due to its receiver and longer barrel :D

Not sure where you're from but I don't think 8mm Mauser is that common outside of like eastern-central EU xD Also for If you ever get your hands on a M76 (now this is what I could find from info on net and talking to ex serviceman so take it with a grain of salt) but you want to use 197-8 grain bullets for it.

That is a lot of flash for a 19 inch barreled 308 with a flash hider. Must be the Russian steel case powder. I had a birdcage compensator like that on my AKM once and it was spewing fireballs and sparks. Makes me think some of the fireball complaints on AK suppressors (besides Krink stuff) are just powder-related.
