The beeping was really immersive. I kept hearing it throughout the quest, then when I finished I still heard it. Turns out the fridge had been left open for a couple of hours.

In my opinion, this was certainly a step up from the first few Inazuma archon quests. They clearly put a lot of effort into these 2, and it shows!

I think inazuma act 1 had a better impression than Sumerian act 1 (of we ignore the manga fans) but act 2 definitely was more developed where as inazuma while good quality the pacing was too fast

@@Renaknight Act I was a complete snoozefest. I much prefer Tighnari and Collei as the first characters over Thoma and Ayaka. Act II was the most interesting part of the Inazuma archon quests because of Raiden and Kokomi

I really think Sumeu quests were the best until now, Inazuma felt so underwhelming, in Sumeru we have so much more indepth and the characters feel more human, cant really explain, but it is definetely my favorite nation right now

The writing and voice acting in this quest is obviously amazing but something that I haven’t seen talked about much is the cinematography. The camera work and shot framing is unusually stellar in the regular dialogue parts.

What I really love of this archon quest is that the traveler actually gets to feel sad for once. When teppei passed away, the traveler didn’t have time to grief, at least it didn’t show them grieving over him, but here, it actually shows the traveler grieving the loss of Dunyarzad, it actually felt like the traveler was allowed to feel emotions, and not be some kind of stoic, one note hero
@LittleBigPlanetian Жыл бұрын
Traveler DID feel emotional after Teppei's death, since they immediately took off to the Fatui base to destroy the Delusions in sheer rage It seems a flaw with Traveler is that whenever someone they care about dies, they fly off into a fit of rage (like how they were eager to fight the Eremites after Dunyarzad's death)

It seems that Genshin writers decided to take a page of Honkai and give us extra pain. Gotta props to them, this quest really made you feel angry at the sages, sad for the loss of a dear friend and hopeless about the whole situation. And good resolution for the problem.

What you thoughts were all just normal ppl opinions… you know what? this kind of big project is not that easy to release, they were not changing their main plot lines for next chapter just like simple minded people think, they already planed both inazuma and sumeru main plot quest long time before the game release…

I loved this quest so much, the mystery was genuinely interesting and the "brainstorming" mechanic was a great way to let players keep track of the important clues to slowly solve the mystery. It truly feels like you're solving it with the Traveler, most other genshin mysteries where very easy to figure out early on or impossible for use to figure out ourself and just have to wait for the other characters to tell us the answer.

The reason why telling Nilou it's a dream works is because you made her realize it was a dream first. Rather then outright telling her. This avoids the "don't wake up a sleepwaker" problem because like you, they realized it thesmelves and gradually accepted it.

Mihoyo got us in the palm of their hands... Playing with our emotions masterfully. First they put us in a situation which confuses and annoy us. Then, they make us sad for Dunyarzad, and give us a false hope which brings up some resentment Which we take it out on the thugs... Then they bring the emotion for Dunyarzad back once we have vented out our frustration and are more ready to accept things. "You must be exhausted" "Speaking happily with Dunyarzad felt like an eternity ago". Those definitely resonate with those who are immerse in the story. Mihoyo wore us down, then followed by the 5 stages of grief treatment. Denial, Anger Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance, all came into play, though in slightly different order for bargaining and anger. It's masterfully put together, an excellent Archon Quest.

My favorite genshin archon quests were shenhe's and we will be reunited,not too much happens (in terms of combat,sicne they are story heavy) but they have a MASSIVE impact on the player. That changed until sumeru,the aranara quest and "a morn a thousand roses bring" have made me the most invested on terms of story,they might be long but u arent bored in any second of it. What makes it better is that it feels really beliavable, we connect and get to be with dunyarzard long enough to get attached and dont make it seem like she was just added for shock value, the story was amazing and the dance of sabseruz was the icing of the cake. If this was just the INTRODUCTION to sumeru i cant wait to see whats in store

I felt like crying the first time, but my drive for finishing the quest kept me from it. I feel surprised that I really did bawl like a baby watching your video, even knowing the ending of the quest, the mental exhaustion leading to the climax, worrying so much for Dunyarzad, witnessing Nilou's dance being literally the stuff of dreams and the resolution of it all were so beautiful. After living countless days through the samsara, reading and understanding the name of the quest "The morn a thousand nights brings" just hits differently. I MOURNED FFS, but I am thankful of having the chance to experience this beautiful game.

I came back to watch this after playing Act IV….looking back a lot of things became clear for me…when Nahida said that Greater Lord Rukkhadevata had disappeared and the sages had found her newly born self…it was probably because the sages found the Greater Lord had regressed into Nahida…and she lost all of her memories and personality essentially a different person…so the sages just stashed Nahida in the sanctuary because basically she’s just the Greater Lord’s child form body but her mind was lost and that was why the sages concluded that Rukkhadevata died…
