I would aslo recommend to gr ur references from real life photos instead of someone else's drawings, they look good because they learned correct anatomy before, and if u "copy" what they do, u may not learn completely. Also, remember tracing is ok ❤ (just dont post it or claim it)

this is true, i'd only recommend to look at the drawings of others if you're learning how to stylize and simplify (for example, studying how another artist simplifies hands in the style you like, instead of making the hands of your cartoon character highly rendered and realistic)

Here are some other things that help me: Look at the shapes that you would put in a drawing that is not in perspective, and draw those shapes in perspective. ( this will help to make all of the parts of your body look like there in perspective.) Get a drawing that is not in perspective and warp it, use that as a reference Also trace that reference so you can understand more about that placements and what changed !

This is truly the biggest obstacle I have in art, perspective is something you should learn before ANYTHING, and I, ofc, didn't gave a shit to it when I started drawing (maybe bc it was js fun and games, now, I literally work w it) So to EVERY begginer artist; Study perspective before ANYTHING! Sounds pretty boring, but it will literally be everywhere, to understand the face, you have to understand it's perspective
