I just found your channel and the production value is wild to me considering you post so often and seem to be a one man show!

Thank you. Yeah, it's just me. I have a backlog of bikes I need to review since it has been raining a ton the past couple of months, so I am on my grind getting it done.

@@scotthardesty great to hear! I also think it’s awesome hearing you talk about the Chicago skyline because I agree it’s a beautiful city. Keep it up 👍🏻

Ive had mine for a year now and love it. I just wish dual motor had more top speed. I get around 27/28 mph on single rear motor and only get an extra 5mph on dual motors. I only use dual motors to get up 1 big hill after work but it does eat into the battery
@scotthardestyАй бұрын
Some people keep theirs in dual motor mode which I think would cut the distance in half.

I switched my seat to an aftermarket amazon one. Not only did i not like it but it also split all the way around the back and i had to tape it up

oh wow. Luckily, seats are an easy thing to switch out.

I'd say it's a good buy for someone wanting AWD. I have an Ecells AWD and they recommend running AWD all the time on the road for motor efficiency. Front wheel drive only can be dangerous making a turn from a stop. The torque on mine is just crazy. Good review. Try AWD more and you'll probably get better mileage.

Interesting... I thought it got great mileage for just having one battery.

45 NM for a 1000/1200W motor is pretty weak. That doesn't seem right. Unless it's a single 25A controller that just splits the power to 2 motors so that it's 1000/1200 to one motor or 500/600 when both are active. It's just not adding up to me. Based on your testing 45 NM seems off, looks stronger than that
@scotthardesty4 ай бұрын
It doesn't seem right and I agree. When they said it had 90Nm of torque, I specifically asked them it that was each hub or when it is in AWD. They said AWD. To me, I think they are 90Nm of torque each. That 90Nm of Torque would not have made it up that 2nd hill. Also, both motors create 2400w max, so I know the info they gave me was wrong, but I can only put down what they say when it comes to the specs... but I believe they are 90Nm each.
@drrhino49384 ай бұрын
@@scotthardesty Oh I get it, and glad we agree. The power results, especially that hill, just don't line up to me, but I get you are just relaying what they said. Love your videos, keep up the good work

Its got 2 controllers one for each motor but i find it struggles up steepish hills on one motor only
