once there are units into your base, you are afraid to send villagers away from your TC :o

@@KobuCake true but leaving it be for 10-15 min was no solution. Less villagers would’ve died, possibly, in a quick endeavor to wall the side quickly after first raid. The defeat was more due to idle villagers moving around the base than it was Anya dead villagers

@@Rostam501walls would have just killed more villagers, how you protect them to build? He just got outplayed. Losing those 3 camels with nothing to show for very early on ruined him as his opponent didn't make a mistake

@@mcmarkmarkson7115 I don't think you understand that you have to hit the timing perfect when it comes to situations like that in a game. for example, while the enemy cav is on your right, you go to the left to build walls so no other raids could come from that side.

@@AaronOmar-co8bn there was no way of perfect timing, he had cav split to kill any workers going outside to pull up some walls that timing was way past after being caught by your opponent out of position. Sure it might have worked if your opponent made a mistake, but otherwise gg

Absolutely masterful. Knowing that his opponent went FC, Beasty stayed feudal and used the numbers advantage to drown out, and eventually starved out Bee by keeping him away from berries/deers. Delhi rewards aggressive plays, and we see this strategy pay off. Great game!

Fast Castle into GG lovely strategy lol. I feel like the gamba nerf has exposed the Ayyubid's for what they are and looks to me like they will beat the Byzantines on a race to the bottom soon. That is if people pick Ayyubid post nerf cause their pick rates have dropped off rapidly along with their win rates

definitely wrong. the nerf is actually a buff depending on how you look at it. more res/trader rolls and early bedouin units are fuckin awesome to harass with. especially the skirmirshers. you have to realize that beasty is just one of the best period. 4 mid cost walls protects Bees entire base corner.

tbh i watched this on beastys channel before this upload, and he explains it how he does him dirty he uses bees strat against him. the fact of the matter is - desert raider reinforcements is just not a big enough pay out in feudal compared to other options. lumber for free tc, or traders casino, or even the black smiths upgrades - all better value imo than 1 raider per 2 mins

@@APcraft747 I disagree the civ in general is weak. Even the gamba wing gives you a tactical advantage in terms of 2 skirmishers in feudal which cost 225 resources or whatever it is with the nerf which delays your tc if you make one and is basically like the military wing for abbasid except you pay more resources for it. Every subsequent unit you get from the wing costs a lot of gold and doesn't build towards a larger army because you arent using these skirmishers of your base army. It's just a emergency unit that's it. Besides this the resource trade is decent but you have to realize that is trading the powerhouse abbasid eco for it because the ayyubid don't have any eco bonus besides golden age 1 across all ages. Not to mention you have to survive to late castle or later to start massing camel raiders when the become viable other wise due to the 0 range armor they are pretty fragile if your micro isn't on point. even though they couter cavs they die to base horsemen since they are harder to mass because they cost all 3 resources so much harder to macro for. Camel Lancers also suck compared to knights because they are just lower in all stats. If you survive to imp though the camel armor is very useful but that's it

This loss had absolutely nothing to do with the Ayyubid opening, which was excellent. Bee just got outplayed in other parts of game.

@@WillieFungo It has a lot to do with the opening. Fast Castle achieved nothing, only allowed Delhi to accumulate huge military advantage and put pressure instead of defending. All it gave is relics, which does not compensate for loss of the map control, idling the eco from the constant opponent's raids that the loss of map control results in, and eventually losing both villagers and all military.

@@olegdragora2557 Go back and watch what bee did after getting castle. He just brainless threw away expensive Camel Lancers one after the other. A competent player would have massed Ghulams and just ended the game. Bee also lost too many vils from raids, which is just a skill issue.

I've been watching him since aoe3 vids he literally can't win with what title he uses as someone will complain its a spoiler if the mentioned civ wins or if he swaps it around and try's to bluff the civ that loses someone comments about it. Just let the man cook

yeah, I don't really understand. is it just this channel showing more often Ayyubid losses? or is it just not enough players who need to completely master the Ayyubid builds?
