Tip for a Tokyo that I really like, instead of using a bullet weight use tungsten putty. You don't necessarily need a bend for weight, you can adjust the weight by adding or removing some putty, and it helps move through the grass and not get stuck

The neko rig has been my #1 producing pond rig so far this fall but this looks like an awesome alternative when I don’t feel like losing all my tungsten nails, which is also the exact reason I haven’t been fishing the neko rig lately 😂

I nose hook on a ewg because I like to use a ewg on my drop shot to have the option to nose hook or go weedless

Simple: tie a drop shit rig, but put on a little bullet weight rather than a drop shot weight, then tie a cheap split ring on at the end of the line. You're welcome.

I absolutely love the tokyo rig! Using the 3/0 version with a full size trench hawg works wonders! Also try using 2 smaller weights back to back with a glass bead between, makes a lot of noise.

@@WestinSmith lol i use them still but mainly for dragging swimbaits lol. Crazy story tho first cast on one of these/pitch i caught a bass lol. Nothing big but i was like aint no way it works this well and it didnt for me specifically 🤣 lol. Crazy how we all have the baits we catch fish on and the baits we dont but then its the opposite for the next person lol. Technique can be the same sometime also lol.

Haha spreading the misinformation 🤣🤘🏼 there’s not a wrong way to rig it. Some folks rig it this way some rig it with the flat side down. Arguments on either side as to the fall rate and what cover you’re fishing. If it was just a more flat hard bottom, I’d probably have the flat side down 👌🏼
