I grew up watcing you Al. Tomboy that fished with all the boys. I am 60 now. Always warms my heart to see you again, your family too. God and THS be with you always❤ Tokyo Rigging is a new concept for me. My goal has always been go into the thickest weeds no one in thier right mind would fish and fish it like I own it. Love this rig. Big old Texas rig for Pike in the weeds❤️ Just go finess and slow and huge jerk to clear once in awhile. It also brings in fish with that jerk to clear in the massive thick cabbage, etc... I love you guys show. I like this Tokyo Rig concept and going to check it out. Opener was last weekend in MN if your still here not in TN.

Al- Nice to see you on KZbin. Been following you since I got some copies of Fishing Facts in the early 70s. Then In Fisherman magazine 80s. Then saw you on The Outdoor Channel or TNN. A friend had cable tv. Al, you taught us where in the lake to fish, what lures, and why. Not just fishing the shore like Bill Dance or Roland Martin or Orlando Wilson. Much respect to you, Al. Great show today about Tokyo rigs! Your inspiration at the end is moving. "is anyone going to heaven because of me?" I would respond to that as saying "that is not up to me, but I sure am going to live a life full of the Holy Spirit guiding me just like the early disciples did! I share my faith in a way that the Holy Spirit has given me and from there it's all up to God who will be judged to go to heaven or not and I sure hope some day I get to meet God (in heaven). That is my faith and what keeps me going every day!
