You say luck - I say a huge amount of effort that went into the gacha react video, a lifetime of musical knowledge, and a positive but humble personality (and a flexible neck)...
@Glen.Black. Жыл бұрын
Homegnome nailed it! They work hard and get to perform in front of larger and larger audiences and you work hard and get to meet more and more awesome musicians! And it's only the beginning! I see a lot more of these in your future! You worked really hard for years, with little pay off, and now it's time to reap the rewards of that effort, and boy are you the Grand Reaper now! Congratulations on your success! As measured in really cool experiences!

It's impossible to sum up Gacharic Spin in one song, but if you had to try and choose then perhaps this would be it. I'm pleased to have done my part to help spread gacha awareness - let's hope it continues (and I'll try to remain not too jealous of you meeting the band!)

Another band that looks more like a family than an ordinary band. I love and respect them since I saw live videos of them around 5 years ago - you instantly know they're something special and unique. They're on my bucket list of bands I need to see live at least once.

It was so great meeting you Wave and I'm so happy to see how much you've grown to love this band Not that I have any sort of reach like you do, but I left Houston with a fresh resolve to do anything and everything I can in whatever little ways I can to get this band out there and known more Scott's Bass Lessons (1.5 million subs on KZbin) said he'd have a look at MindSet after I suggested it'd be worth him digging into that track, who knows if he will but I think the bassist vector is one with a strong potential as Koga seems to universally tick bassist boxes
@MaartenT Жыл бұрын
Man I would love Scott's Bass Lessons to dig into Gacharic Spin. I haven't watched his channel in a while, but I always thought he would like it from what I have seen. I am not a bass player, but I love bass as an instrument. I would probably choose either bass or drums if I were to play an instrument. I really hope he gives it an honest watch.
@r-tunes8652 Жыл бұрын
@@MaartenTI hope so, although I'm also keeping my expectations minimal, he has millions of subscribers and doubtless gets spammed with a huge number of suggestions every day, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get around to it If he did do something with it he would probably just dig into a few lines, grooves or licks he really liked from it which is what he normally does, but I think that would be enough for other bassists to go and check them out properly when they hear how superb the bass playing is
@MaartenT Жыл бұрын
@@r-tunes8652 I know the chances are pretty slim with such a huge channel that is not really focussed on reactions, but just digging into a couple of parts would be great. Especially since that means he heard the full track and might tell other bassists he knows about them. Recently a bass player and reactor called "Low End University" did MindSet as well and he seemed pretty blown away and said he would talk about other people about it. Not sure if he actually did, but I have seen a bunch of reactions from him nowadays and he doesn't seem like a fake reactor at all. He generally also rewinds and tries to figure out what they play bass in hand. I think it's a great fit to send them to reactors like that as well as just openminded musicians/reactors because their musicianship should capture most people even if it might not be the sound they are typically going for.

High energy as always. About that wireless pack anecdote, now you get the idea why they have so much tape on their guitars 😂Outtakes footage was shared with a more expensive ticket and in it you can see the wireless pack flying like 15 feet into the air after few spins 😅
@MaartenT Жыл бұрын
That reminded me that I forgot to properly check out that bonus video. I skipped through it bakc then but didn't notice that footage. I just checked it out and she basically whipped that wireless pack to the other side of the stage, it was so fast and so far that I couldn't see where it landed. I imagine that gets the blood flowing when something like that happens during a live show.
@v01dal Жыл бұрын
@@MaartenT Yeah, luckily it seemed that the pack just flew away from her and not towards the audience.

@@v01dal Yes and that it didn't hit one of her bandmates on stage. It's crazy to me that it came loose with how taped down her guitars always look and I always thought it was overkill. I guess I am proven wrong by what happened there.

100% agree with this reaction video! they are pure awesome and you are blessed to have the special experience with them .I would love to meet them! I absolutely love them all, but I am especially a huge fan of Koga and Yuri. the energy in this Live MV makes this my favorite version of it after so many years of knowing this song. This lineup is pure fire. 3 vocalists that can lead or harmonize, with Koga, Yuri and TomoZ doing backups and extra vocals. all the dancing and energy, smiles, solos, I mean they have it all on every layer. so good. I hope I can get to see them perform live some day. what a video this is though, I think this one really captures all of the Chaotic Synergy that their live shows showcase. what an experience that must be. I am so jealous! haha. I also hope everyone continues to catch on to them, become fans and continue to spread the word about them. joyful.

I'm promoting them for years now in KZbin's comment section :D - But I have a feeling they are getting a lot more traction in the last few months, which is a good thing. What's bad though: I'm going to Japan this November and their last show is three days before I arrive :( At least I get to see Band-Maid and hopefully Asterism as well (Asterism tickets for the show when I'm there are not available from outside Japan, but I'm already looking for other options).

Nice reaction, man! I totally love Oreo! And this band IS severly underrated! Angie does kind of bring the Armmy vibe, but also the cheer squad vibe from when they had Mai, Arisa, and Nenne as background vocalists and dancers (because quite frankly the main vocalists since Armmy left are Hana and Oreo)

I think you underestimate yourself and the reach of the Gaijin Guys. So, don't say you can't do much. 😉You know I agree that this band is massively underrated and the name Gacharic Spin should be known everywhere for their level of talent and good music. And you are doing a good part for that to hopefully change as soon as possible. Thank you for that! 🙏🏻 I have to admit, when I saw you on one of the fancams sneaking around the side of the stage during their performance, I was a bit jealous. 🤏🏻🤭 Well, that's actually a lie. I was very happy to see you standing so close. :) And even though it's no comparison to the real experience, those videos made me feel like I wasn't thousands of miles away. Which doesn't mean I wouldn't want to experience them myself at least once here in Germany. So yes, promote the ladies where ever you can! :) _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. I agree although Wave has done a large amount of them during livestreams because of requests by HomeGnome and 2abug (and probably others as well). It's how I got to see how crazy good they are live and made me way more of a fan than I was. He has done 68 Gacharic Spin requests on livestream from what I can see in the spreadsheet Simno maintains.
@MaartenT Жыл бұрын
I have gone from not being super impressed with the chorus on this track when I first watched it, mainly because of the auto-tune and the poppy chorus back then, to having this track and especially the chorus stuck in my head regularly. I have commented it under their official video as well, but they have shown me that auto-tune can be used properly in a way that I can actually enjoy it and they have shown it in multiple tracks. But this is probably the one I would point to where it just clicked (at least for Gacharic Spin, I still don't like the effect in general). I actually do have a feeling they are growing or at least more people are reacting to them the last year or so. I really hope people will give their new album a listen as well because I think it's great, probably my favourite album by them and I don't think just because of recency bias. I think it's the album with the least tracks on that I am not a huge fan off and all the rest are bangers for me, it's mainly their ballad (although the Oreo/Angie take they posted is mind-blowing to watch) and maybe one other track that I don't like as much. Also, while a lot of it is because of the requesters, don't sell yourself short. It is your livestreams that made me a way bigger fan of them than I was and basically made me buy the majority of their discography (at least what I could get).

You have to wonder who's going to injure themselves first, Oreo with the high kicks or Angie with the thrust pumps. Hopefully no one! It hurts me just to watch them do that! (WARNING: Don't try that at home!)

@@homegnome2429 That makes sense. Those kind of movements are a lot more dramatic than people realize. Might be why they "workout" backstage now (like Wave said) to prepare for them...lol But to be honest, there really isn't anyone in this band that can be contained. I'm tired now just watching.

Love these ladies. Such incredible energy. I'm not really a fan of the autotune on Hana's voice in this one, even though I understand it is only for effect. It just reminds me of what I dislike in so much of modern pop music. Hopefully they don't go down that road too often. I love the girls voices just the way they are.
