Highly recommend doing future reactions with lyrics, part of what I love about them is how poetic their lyrics are. Like others say, their music tells a story... its more than a single adventure, it's a whole journey.

Can confirm their live shows are incredible, even better than recorded imho

Vessel writes and records everything on the album except for the drums (which is II). Live they're joined by III (bass) and IV (guitar), as well as back vocalists known as Espera. Vessel is also in charge of the keyboard when playing live, although some bits will be a recording for practicality. They are amazing live, it's literally a spiritual experience.

The summoning live drum solo 🧑🏻🍳😘

Rob- I love a good drum solo. Even a good drum cam like the live version of Pneuma that focuses on Danny Carey. I'll have to look that video up.

Saw them at Red Rocks here in Colorado just a few months ago. The best concert I’ve ever seen.

Man your lucky, i was supposed to see them during the "Teeth of God" tour but something happened with the tickets and I ended up not going... I may or may not have cried a little

Rob- Is it a massive production? Anything you might compare it too? I love Nine Inch Nails and the live show they put on. Lots of lights and video production.

@@ShareWhatYouLove Sleep Token was more dim in terms of light and a lot of smoke for esthetics.

It's a bass, guitar, drums, and vocals for the most part. Some synth/keyboard parts are played sporadically live, and some through backing tracks/automation. Another band that's mastered this kind of live performance is Bad Omens. Both bands sound fantastic

Rob- After the show I looked saw that one of the guys is on bass. I missed that one! Great band though. There's still a lot of Sleep Token for me to hear and they're concept albums sound pretty cool.
@estebanogazon23 сағат бұрын
You are right about the theatricality. Each of Sleep token's albums is structured as whole 3 act play, and each album tells a chapter of the overall story. Everything including the masks, the art, the performance, plays along with the concept of the story. This is a band that is worth investing time if you like criptic storytelling through music.

Rob- That is really cool! I love the idea of concept albums! I know Coheed and Cambria did that sort of thing too. I need to take a closer look at Sleep Token .

I think the reason you are having trouble picking up the bass is because the guitars (8 string) are heavily downtuned for the really chuggy parts

Hey can you check out the all female Japanese rock group ‘Band Maid’ and their official mv for ‘Alone’ please? This is an awesome rock band and have a large KZbin following (40M views on reactions alone) so why not check them out? If you do can I get a shoutout for introducing them to you? Either way good luck with your channel! 🍺😁🤘🏻🕊️

Rob- Thank you so much for the recommendation! I've added it to the list. This is still a learning process for us, but I'm doing my best to give thanks on the vids to those kind enough to help us out.

@@ShareWhatYouLove No problem Rob. I’ve introduced Band Maid to 158 reactors this year so far and I know and speak to a lot of them daily so I’m not new to this. 🍺😆 But I got your back Jack…umm I mean Rob!🍺😁

Rob I think I had you listen to this one day when we went to lunch. It would have been a while back. I almost commented this song instead of Amira Elfeky. Glad this one made it. Such a great song. You should do one with spiritbox, circle with me would be a good one. Miss you man!
