I was tech for Cronos for years, and Mantas a few times😊, and you’ll find having half fretless can make the string action a little lower, as no upper frets for the strings to clang around on. Very comfortable and practical too. Finally, he’s a much better player than folks give him credit for.
@restojon1Ай бұрын
That's a really interesting point you raise about the action... hmm, might have to build another Frankenstein/basher and include this. I'm starting up as a self-employed Luthier, I've done it as a hobby for about 20 something years. Eric Claptons tech got me started. I was in the classic car and motorcycle restoration industry for most of my professional life but I copped some pretty lairy spinal cord injuries so I can't do big boys work anymore 😂 Now things have settled down for the most part I'm trying to become a real person again instead of a wolf-fleece wearing, single-crutch-wielding tattoo canvas (how do they afford all of those tattoos??
