This Beach Resort has a VIDEO GAME CONVENTION?!

I found myself in the resort town of Destin, FL where they have a convention called 'Really Rad Weekend'. It's a video game convention complete with vendors, guests, tournaments, free-play arcade and more. Here's a look at the con as well as a few of the surrounding restaurants and other fun we had on the emerald coast.

Really Rad Weekend sounds so Rad and while I wasn’t able to make it, I did go to Saratoga Comic Con this weekend in Saratoga Springs, NY and Saratoga Comic Con was amazing. They will be doing it again next year possibly during the spring or summer so I hope to see you there again next year and Great Vlog as always John Riggs.

Went to Destin two summers in a row with my good friend and his dad, and we met the same group both times. It was so ffn cool when we were on the beach and seen them again, this was in the 90s when there was no sure way to contact a person other than carrier pigeon.

Wow John it’s crazy I just was checking out this video and I was like this place looks very familiar stayed there at the island resort in October great place to bad this convention wasn’t last month really cool resort me and my friend Sue explored the whole facility we loved the grotto bar and beach was excellent as well glad you had a good convention there also liked how the room key is a wristband

John you're in my home town! If you ever go back to McGuire's ask for a Ernie Burger! It's awesome! I grew up in Destin and McGuire's is the best place for St Patrick's Day or any day really but you haven't experienced anything unless you've been there during St Patrick's Day make sure you get there early parking is a challenge!
